The Class Clown

Natsu-

I sat next to Lucy and smiled cheesily  at her causing her to yet again to roll her eyes.

"and what is it this time?" She whispered to me shutting a book that i could bet she started this period or was just finishing up, like she always did.

"well you look a little lonely here all by yourself" I joked opening a book on my desk so it would look like I was doing something, as the teacher always said,'productive' 

"well I wasn't, i had my books- that, might I include, you barged in on. You are so rude" She joked back opening the book again.

"oh my gosh! Lucy! He loves her and she's in love with another guy!" I gasped causing her to bite her lip trying not to laugh. I grinned at my achievement, I had once again caused her to hold back her laughter.

"natsu shut up, you cant ju- " I smirked and pointed at a line in her book

I sighed holding my journal in my hand tightly, my chest ached, so now what must I do? Should I stay with him or should I go with Chris, a girls life  can be so complicated.

"okay okay, fine! you have a point" Lucy began laughing and the teacher hushed her.

"I'm sorry" I said in a high pitched girly tone causing the whole class to erupt like a volcano, except for that one girl in the corner who glared at me and went back to her book. But other than that everyone was laughing.

"Mr. Dragneel, please read your book or work on homework from another class" The Teacher instructed me. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone.

"oh look he's gonna play fortnight" Gray muttered.

"oh boy my religion" I replied giving him a big cheesy smile.

"I have to admit I like minecraft better" Lucy commented making a few people smile. 

I smiled at Lucy, slowly she had been starting to make jokes, but this was the first time she had made one in class, which made me proud of her. 

"yeah cause you like pushing me off buildings on that" I replied.

"that was wendy!" She argued. 

"everyone!  go back to your work and books or I will be forced to make you do book work!" The teacher shouted right as the bell for school to be over rang.

"sorry teach, but no time for that" I smirked grabbing my backpack to sling over my shoulder.

In the hallways I had to run to Lucy because she had left before me and I went to my locker.

"yo luce!" I shouted running up to her.

"yeah?" she asked turning around to see me.

"wanna hang out today?" I asked.

"um ye-" Her phone vibrated and she sighed.

"no I can't" She frowned and I snatched her phone and read the message she got.

Lucy, we are going to have guests tonight so make sure you are prepared to meet them

" oh i see" I muttered tossing her the phone back.

"hey! you can't just take my phone like that!" Lucy yelled. 

so what did I do next? 

well...

I took her phone duh!

"Natsu Dragneel give me that back!"
