I was just taking it all in as I laid in my comfy bed for the first time in a long time. I sat up to look around my favorite place one more time which was so unfamiliar, it was as if I was coming back from the army or something. As my head rotated enjoying every last particle tears began to stream like the Mississippi river as old distant memories rushed in and I truly realized how much I missed my warm bed, my messy closet, and the dusty desk in the corner that I never used. It just felt so good to be back home and everything was just how I left it.

It was my first day back from the hospital and I was enjoying every minute of it. You would've thought I was returning from my world tour with Beyonce from all the love I was receiving... maybe I need to schedule another coma sometime soon. After that month long power nap I was just itching to get back into to the swing of things, it was time to get back to this trainwreck I called my life.

"You have a visitor" a very familiar face entered the humble abode.

"Ty, what do you want" I giggled while wiping my face.

"What's going on?" He sat down at the foot of my bed.

"Nothing, I'm just happy to be back home" I smiled as those words resignated in my soul.

He caressed my toes with his warm fingertips, "how's my baby doing?"

"Baby? Slow your roll, its gone take more than a couple of tears before I'm your baby, baby"

"So its like that now, huh?"

"Most definitely, you gone work for this!"

"Well what I gotta do" he moved up towards me and laid next to me to hold me with such security like he could never let go.

"Are you really ready to come out?"

"I don't really know" he mumbled, hoping I wouldn't catch that.

I abruptly sat up, "Life is too damn short to play these games with you", I leaned against the wall with frustration.

He abruptly sat up and grabbed my hands to hold, "Look, as long as you're right there with me then nothing can hold me back!"

"I know for a fact coming out is nowhere near easy so if you need me there to let the world know who you really are then I got you" I kissed his forehead with assurance and confidence.

"How about Monday morning?"

"Whenever you're ready, baby" he lightly held my head in his hands to kiss me with such joy.

On that Monday morning, I hopped right out of that bed, even 30 minutes earlier than usual, with none of that usual hassle of getting through my morning routine. I was out the door in 40 minutes and on my way to the bus stop, I actually missed, blasting "Happy" by Pharrell like there was no tomorrow. Once I got there, I was greeted by none other than Candi who was a whole a lot thicker nowadays.. how long was I out of it?

"Armani! Armani! Armani!" She continued to squeeze the minimum breath I could find out of me in a very warm embrace.

"Okay, you can let me go now!" I demanded, jolting away with the strength I could muster through her suffocation. "I see you missed me"

"How could I not?! I didn't think you were gonna make it but then I had my uncle pray for you" she cheesed at me.

"How sweet of you. But what's going on with you girl, I see your you've been getting a whole lot thicker these days"

Another grin came across that face of hers, "You didn't hear?"

"How could I, I was in the hospital girl"

"I'm expecting!" She jumped with joy.

"Expecting what? A package" I stood there in utter confusion.

"No, silly! I'm pregnant" She jumped with joy.

"You're what!" My heart sank to my stomach as my face dropped.

"And guess what? Ty is the father!" She continued to jump with joy as I about to collapse in shock.
