As she continued to jump with joy, I continued to rise with anger as so many thoughts went racing through my head. Were they messing around while I was in that hospital on my death bed? Has he been lying to me this whole time? Has this all been a lie?

"Armani!" Candi snapped me out of my various thoughts.

"What, girl" I snapped back at her.

"Aren't you happy for me?"

"When did this happen?" I raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"You don't remember? Before your coma I had that pregnancy scare" She attempted to jog my memory.

"Yeah" as it all started coming back to me.

"Well that wasn't a scare" a smile spread across her face as she rubbed her belly.

"Well how do you know Ty is the father?" I raised another eyebrow.

"He was the only guy I was with at that time"

"But don't you wanna get a DNA test?"

"Why? Do you think I'm lying, Armani?"

"No, not at all" I lied.

"I'm so glad you're back, now you can be with me every step of the way. From baby names to picking out the crib, I bet you're just as happy as I am" She began to discuss as the bus arrived.

Once we finally got to the school from the longest bus ride ever as Candi wouldn't stop going on and on about how she truly believes this baby is going to bring her and Ty together, my main focus was to find Ty as I bulldozed through all the warm greetings as everyone was so happy to have me back which I could've cared less about at the moment.

"Ty" I found him in the bathroom washing his hands.

"Baby" He attempted to hug me as I pushed him about two feet back. "What's wrong? Today's the big day"

"Oh yeah, it's a pretty big day alright! According to Candi, you're going to be a father!"

"What are you talking about?"

"When in the hell were you going to tell me about Candi, huh?"

"What about that bitch?"

"That bitch is your baby momma"

"No she's not and that ain't my damn baby" he snapped.

"Well not according to her! You need to handle that Ty because you will not have me out here looking like a damn fool!"

"I'm gonna handle it, okay! Just keep calm baby I got this" He assured me.

"Well that needs to be handled before me and you even try to go public"

"What you mean?"

"Do you really think me and you are about to be around here walking hand in hand with the whole school knowing that you have a baby on the way with another bitch? You must be crazy!"

"Fuck what they have to say! Why do you care?"

"Like I said before you won't have me out here like a damn fool so handle that bitch first"

"But.."

"But nothing!" I cut him off, "I'm done with this conversation" and with that I was out.
