I was standing behind Farraday and Davey as they used the microform to look at the news paper articles on the missing kids. In one of the bookstacks nearby, Woody was laughing at Eatsy as he pretended to be my brother making out with Nikki. "Oh Davey, you're a real bad kisser. W-what I'm sorry Nikki I-I, sorry" Eatsy squeaked in a high pitched voice and changed halfway through to a deeper voice, while pretending to make out with himself. I rolled my eyes at them and I was about to say something to them, except Farraday beat me to it, "g-guys, cut the shit. Unlike you idiots, I actually come here to study, so don't get me kicked out." He looked over his shoulder at them, then back at the computer. Eatsy and Woody wandered away as I leaned in close to Davey and whispered, "don't listen to those asshats. I bet their shitty kissers." Both boys laughed quietly. Davey held up one of the newspapers and read the headline out loud, "check this out! 'Cape May Slayer! Fifteen confirmed victims and still counting.' That's so rad." I don't get it. Why would the killer only write a letter now after all this time?" Farraday asked Davey. "He's been killing people and getting away with it for years. He's bored so he's raising the stakes. But he wasn't counting on us" Davey provided and I pointed out, "what if the police are wrong? The killer could be female. Think about it, awfully easy way to lure teenaged boys to their deaths with a sexy body. We should probably keep an eye on Eatsy in that case, he'd jump at that opportunity. And the killer probably wants credit for their kills, that's why they wrote the letter." They both chuckled, nodded, and went back to looking at the microform.

Farraday very carefully scrolled through the article, earning a frustrated sigh from my brother, "Jesus Farraday, it's not like you're gonna break it" Davey exclaimed making both of us jump. Farraday let him take control of the mouse and I got super bored. "Disinterested" I smirked as Farraday laughed and looked at me with a smile. "Unenthusiastic" he shot back and I laughed too. "Phlegmatic" I beamed. He looked at me shocked and he was clearly thinking of another come back. "Guys!" Davey practically shouted and we looked at him sadly. "Shh. Fine, we'll stop. I'm so bored" I sighed. For a few minutes I just stood their watching my brother rapidly scrolling through the articles. I stretched my arms and out of the corner of my eye I saw Woody and Eatsy coming towards us. Eatsy had something in his hand that looked like a National Geographic Magazine. He pushed past me and held the magazine open in front of the screen. "Peekaboobs" he yelled, getting a laugh from Woody. "Ha, ha, get it" Woody encouraged. "Don't encourage him" I scolded, while Eatsy held up his shirt and stuffed the magazine into his pants. I averted my eyes to avoid seeing anything because I didn't want to get all hot and bothered. "What are you doing?" Davey interrogated. "Free porn bro" Eatsy claimed with a shrug. "You know there's something in there called articles with big words, don't get a headache" I whisper yelled to him as Wood and him walked away again. "Is he just gonna take that?" Farraday worriedly probed, I shrugged with a nod. "I guess so. Alright boys, I gotta go, I'll see you later for Manhunt" I declared, backing away with a smile and a wave.

I made my way over to the romance section and just before going down the book stack, I looked around to make sure no one was following me. What my friends don't know is that I read smutty romance novels, my version of porn. Technically, I'm supposed to be eighteen+ to read them and the only reason I'm able to take them out is because I am on really good terms with the librarian, Mrs. Kindler. She's really nice and let's me take out a few books every other week. I skimmed the through the books, a lot of them I had already read. I finally came to one that I hadn't read and I checked the back for an R rating. It did, so I chose it and two others. I made my way over to the librarian's desk, clutching the books to my chest. I was a bit nervous that one or all of the guys would see me and come ask me what I was getting. Phew, luckily they didn't. "Hi Danielle, back for more books I see" the older lady greeted. I chuckled and placed the books on the desk. "Hi Mrs. Kindler. Yeah I just finished this one and I'd like to exchange it for these ones" I requested as I pulled the book out from my bag. "Of course, dear. Enjoy and I'll see you in a few days" she said, winking as she wrote the titles onto a card, typed them into the computer, and gave them back to me. "Thanks, I'll see you then" I thanked, leaving with a smile and put the books into my bag. I was headed for the door when someone came over to me. He wrapped an arm over my shoulders and someone else did the same on the other side of me. I didn't have to look to know exactly who they were. "Do you need an escort my lady?" Eatsy's voice whispered in my left ear. I felt a shiver run down my spine as his warm breath hit my neck. "No it's only a block away. I'm sure no serial killers' going to kidnap me, but you guys might want to stick together" I kid as I shrugged their arms off. "You sure Dani?"Woody searched. I turned around to face them and saw their serious expressions. "Guys, I'll be fine. I'll see you later" I reassured with a genuine smile as I exited the library.
