There was a loud bustling in the streets. People rudely pushing past each other to get into shops, others practically fighting for objects displaced across the walls.

The dirt path was kicked up, causing a cloud of dust into the faces of the shoppers. Kids ran after each other, one falling behind yelling out to the others.

"Hey! Wait for me!" The kid cried, before being stopped abruptly by a taller man. He fell down, his shirt filling with dust. After trying to get it all off, he realized there was a pair of boots in front of him. His head gradually raised to see shiny silver armor.

Finally he reached his obstacles face, a tall man with blood red eyes and pointed ears. They were matched with hideous sharp teeth poking out of his mouth and long, well kept pink hair.

His eyebrow cocked, showing an annoyed expression. His arms were crossed in front of him, only covered in thin brown leather.

"Sir, you are one hideous knight." The kid said, smirking. His blue eyes didn't dare to leave the man's obscure red ones.

Finally the knight picked him up and slung him over his shoulder, confidently walking through the sad streets filled with desaturated people.

He placed him on a porch in front of an old building, the wooden planks that kept it up now molded and caked in soot. A sign desperately hung from one chain read "Phil's House for Children."

"There you go, little orphan, right where you belong." The tall man grunted before walking away, a smile spreading acrossed his face.

"I- what- you! I am not an orphan!" The kid stood up and barked, watching angrily as he walked away.

A noise from behind him caused him to jump. He looked over, seeing a face peaking through a door. "Oi! Come out!" The young boy called, adrenaline surging through him.

The door opened more, revealing a round white mask with a black smiling face printed onto it.

The blond ran over to him, but the door was slammed shut before he could reach.

"HEY OPEN UP!" He screeched, pounding the fragile wood.

"No, don't talk to me, you orphan." The masked boy replied.

"I'm not a fucking orphan!" He kicked the door angrily. "Now open the damn door!"

"Why should I? You're probably covered in fleas." The voice sounded disgusted.

"Yeah, says you! Your house is like two trash bins stacked on top of each other!"

The door opened suddenly, knocking back the smaller kid and leaving him once again on the ground, this time with a bloody nose.

Standing above him was another boy, gripping a sharp whittling knife threateningly. His mask covered his face almost completely, a leather hood hid the rest.

"Hey hey hey calm down!" The blond boy scooted out from between the other's feet.

He jumped up quickly, unfathomed by the height difference.

"I'm Tommy." He held out his hand, smiling nervously. "And you are...?" He pressed after a few seconds of no response.

"Dream." The taller one said, his white shirt sleeves rolled up, his arms crossing.

"Awh, great, nice to meet you.” Tommy lowered his hand awkwardly.

"What do you want from me?" Dream asked angrily, you could tell he had a disgusted look on his face even though he had a mask on.
