Chapter 14: Dance of the Snowflakes

It's new year's eve, time for you and the others to see the fireworks display during the countdown. Yes, y'all returned from London two days ago. It's still winter so all of you are like kittens in the scarf.

All of you separated in groups, Tsumi is with Sakura and Nene, Mitsuba ran off with Kou and Hanako is with Tsuchigomori-sensei and Yako-nee san. That leaves you with Tsukasa.

Now Tsukasa is on to something. He said: "Hey (Y/N)-chan! I have a game for the both us! If someone calls us a couple then I win!"

"Wh- WHaaAaAAaT?!" You whisper screamt as you blushed.

"Our friends doesn't count!"

"But-"

"Let the games begin!!!"

"Nani-"

You lost in the first minute, you two were infront of a takoyaki stall, when Tsukasa dragged you to order a plate of takoyaki, the stall owner said: "Wow, another couple huh?"

"YAY! I WON!!!" Tsukasa said as you blushed and turn to the other way, not looking at him.

Why did he want to think of this kind of game?! It's embarassing, that's close, I never let anything of my heart out. You thought, not knowing it was a message.

The both of you are going to meet the others but you two have to go through a crowd of people. That's how you lost each other. The people had pushed you to the stairs for the bigger view.

Tsukasa called out to your name but you couldn't hear him from the noisy crowd. This made him remember the time when he lost the young Hanako when they were kids in the summer festival. He was running and had a worried expression.

You on the other hand thought of the Misaki stairs cuz the stairs were very long to walk but walked up, thinking Tsukasa would be there.

Tsukasa found the others while they were questioning him where were you. He told them everything, panting.

Luckily, Tsumi and Nene saw you on the stairs with their great eyesight. Tsukasa ran up the stairs as fast as he can. You turned around and saw Tsukasa behind you. The firework display started.

"Just in time-" You said as you smiled warmly.

"(Y/N)-chan, I-" Tsukasa said as a loud boom interrupted.

When the fireworks ended, you asked: "What did you want to say?"

He just shakes his head and holds your wrist. He blushed and claimed that he just wanted to help you as the stairs were really long.

It's just that you were really dense, you never really realized the message. Mitsuba on the other hand took a picture of you two, without the both of you noticing.

A snowflake landed on your hand that Tsukasa was holding. Granting you two a wish that you never thought that will happen...
