Romeo

Cat went back to the cabin, and she was sitting in it, playing a few games on her phone. She heard a loud thud , and went to check it out. Mitchell was bleeding from a gash on his head after tripping over a log and hitting his head on a rock.

She panicked and dragged the boy inside.

"Mitch! Get up! Mitch! Please!" she cried. No dice.

"Mitch you asshole please!"

His eyelids slowly opened, fluttering to reveal red, bloodshot eyes. He'd been crying recently.

"Hey, kid. Where's Eric?" asked Cat.

"No stop, please! Don't even mention his name! He's probably gone by now!" Mitchell woefully shouted.

"Oh shit. I'm sorry, I really am." Cat felt horrible.

Mitchell sniffed."Where's his scarf?" he asked.

Cat gave in. She knew about Mitchell's tendencies, but she told him where it was anyway.

"It's in that tree over there..."

Screams were heard. Eric's screams. Mitchell slowly began getting up. He knew Eric would die. He yanked the scarf from the tangle of branches and ran further into the forest.

Cat was relieved, yet worried and didn't want anyone to be killed. She ran out towards Eric's direction. She wanted to go help.

Eric was running back to the cabin, and Cat rammed into him.

"Jesus fuck.. Ouch." Cat groaned. Eric bent over and grabbed his glasses. He adjusted them, before noticing a fearful Cat.

"Where's Mitchell?! I need to show him that I'm safe!" was the first thing Eric asked.

"Um, he's over.. there?" she said.

Distant screams of fear were heard. They decided to follow the sound, fearing the worst.

After 7 minutes of walking towards the sound, they saw a floating body. They thought it was the ghost, only levitating. A closer look would only confirm Eric's fear of what happened to Mitchell. Cat saw this, and ran the other way, because she thought she'd let this happen.

The creaking of an old tree went in tune to the swinging of the body. Eric's eyes looked mournful. It wasn't long until he started shedding tears. One drop, then another.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!"
