Unfinished

Two Girls Alone

Lotus was exhausted, and collapsed on a pile of leaves. They were crunching under her weight.

"How are we gonna get out now?" she cried, sitting up in the fetal position. Tears streamed down her face. She got up and walked around for an escape route.

After reaching a small lake, she looked at the other side. The figure appeared again. Lotus panicked and briskly walked away. She kept walking until she saw the figure yet again. She couldn't help but wail out her best friend's name.

"NADINE!! NADINE!!!!"

Meanwhile, Nadine was frantically searching for Lotus. She heard shouts coming from the right, so she ran as fast as she could to that location.

"Lotus! Lotus?! Lotus!!?" She kept frantically running about the forest.

"NADINE!" Lotus shouted,"NADINE!!"

Lotus heard her name being yelled back near the lake. She sprint there out of fear.

Their reunion was tearful, but joyful. Lotus was relieved to see her friend again. Nadine was glad the girl was safe.

"Shh it's okay. Let's go back to the others." Nadine quietly said.

They were walking back to their friends (and Cat) when the figure appeared again. Lotus started shivering and her eyes started to well up. Nadine saw the ghost and desperately tried to comfort Lotus.

"SURPRISE SURPRISE!" it shrieked. The ghost looked to be of a girl, mangled up and bloody one. Short orange hair covered her face. She brandished a dagger.

Lotus let out a bloodcurdling scream, one which hurt her friend's ears. Nadine jumped in front of the screaming girl so she wouldn't get injured or worse, killed.

"HEHEHEHE" the ghost cackled, as the tip of the dagger hit Nadine's torso.

Blood splattered onto Lotus's clothes and face. She shouted even louder, as she watched her best friend die. Nadine was being stabbed multiple times in the chest, blood coming out of the wounds at a rapid pace. She didn't survive.

Due to Lotus's cowardly, fearful nature, she scurried away, but tripped on a tree branch. Her knees were scraped and her ankle was twisted.

"NO!" she pleaded. The ghost came even closer, holding the same knife used to kill her friend.

"Let's PLAAAAAAY." the ghost teased. Lotus was too scared to get up and start running. Instead her fate was sealed.

"STABBY STABBY STAB!" she giggled. She then proceeded to pierce into Lotus with great force.

"AAAAAAAHHHH!!!" she cried out, excruciating pain filling her. She wept as the blade impaled her many times more.

The ghost pierced the girl's body at least 40 times. She was almost dead, but one swift movement and she was gone forever. 44 stab wounds and one slit throat.

"Goodbye. Heeheehee." the ghost snickered, before whimsically skipping about the woods.
