You have a brother that is completely obsessed with Star Wars. He can't drive yet, so he asked you to take him to The Force Awakens premiere.
The whole way there, he was ranting on and on about how excited he was, spouting nerdy fact after nerdy fact. You didn't really care that much, but you still paid attention.
You get into the theater and it is crowded! You manage to find two open seats, one in front of the other, but you aren't going to be able to sit next to your brother. One of his friends is there, so he runs and sits next to him. You find a seat by the aisle and decide to sit there.
"You a fan?" the guy sitting next to you asks and before you can respond, he starts rambling. "I mean, I guess you must be a fan if you're here at the premiere.... umm....." His friends shush him and you giggle slightly. You couldn't see his face, but you liked what you could see. He was wearing a beanie and a Stormtrooper tank. His five friends seemed like they didn't want to be there that much, either.
You found the movie interesting, and once you got out of the theater, you started frantically looking for your brother. You turned quickly and bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry. I was just looking for my brother," you say, looking up only to meet the eyes of the cute guy you were sitting by.
"So, what did you think of the movie?" he asks and your brother's mindless ranting came in handy. You start reciting your brother's facts and this guy seems really impressed.
"Can I get your number?" he blurts, cutting you off. His friends smirk as you nod and exchange numbers.
That night, you fell asleep dreaming about him and woke up to a text.
'Hey. I realize I never caught your name. I'm Cole, by the way. I'll see you soon, beautiful.'
You smile and you brother walks into your room.
"I told you it'd be awesome." He winks at you and leaves.
Yes it was.
