I was practicing sword play, it turned out to be a good way to pass the time since I wasn't allowed to be a consort anymore. Apparently that's what I became after Ben became King, I filled my time with different activities. Sword play, horse riding, archery or reading. I swung the sword round and then turned my whole body into attacking the wooden dummy.

"Breanne." I turned sharply, my blade came within inches of Jay's neck.

"Yes?" I question, he gulped and glanced at the sword. "It's blunt, I won't do any physical harm." I lowered it and walked over to get some water.

"Sure. Uh, Ben want's to see you in his office." I took a few gulps of water. He stood there awkwardly. Ben had told me that we were in a relationship similar to his and Mel's, sorry Mal. He seemed nice and patient, which was a big must with what was going on with me. I let out a big breath and tossed him the sword he caught the handle.

"Okay." I walked past him drinking more of my water and headed for my brother's office. As I got closer I heard raised voices, they were my Dad and Brother arguing.

"This could tip her over the edge, Ben!" Dad scolded

"She doesn't even remember, Dad. She barely gets her name right majority of the name." Ben retorted

"I want you to be happy but not at the expense of your sisters mental health, she has just got back to normal, what if you doing this triggers her memories or worse another dooming vision."

"You know visions are subjective. That's what the Enchantress said." Ben huffs

"No what she actually told her is most of the time it is. However the more intense and persistent the more certain it is." he retorted. I decided this would be a good time to knock on the door then open it. Mom stood between my Dad and brother with an exasperated look. They all looked at me .

"You wanted to see me?" Dad visibly relaxed and came over to pull me inside.

"Yes. I have some exciting news." Ben smiled. Dad wrapped a comforting arm around my waist.

"Is it, cause it sounds like it's bad?" Ben chuckled slightly

"I'm planning to propose to Mal." I raise my eyebrows

"You're what?! When? Why? She's a Villian kid not a Queen. What you're hoping to stick a crown on her and hope for the best?" he sighed

"Breanne, you don't understand."

"You're right I don't, I lost my memory dumbass. my understanding flew out the window a long time ago."

"I love her."

"I love Dude our campus mutt, you don't see me proposing to him. It's what been a year and from I've been told she struggled with basic royal stuff. But go ahead...awh." I clutched my head

"Bree." Dad asked

"I'm okay, ugh my head." I wobbled about.

"Sweetheart why don't we leave you're brother and Dad to talk. We'll get some painkillers." Mom took me out and we walked making our way to the kitchens.

"Oh, Bree, there are you are." I heard the chipper voice of Evie. "Did you hear the great news? Ben proposing." she whispered the last part to us.

"Yeah, I heard."

"I have the perfect idea for a dress to wear to the proposal. Red and blue."

"No, Evie, I'm fine thank you."

"No it's okay, maybe blue and reds a bit too much. Yellow compaments you well and a happy colour for..." i snapped.

"I said No!" I yell/growled. She jumped back.

"Okay, let's calm you down. Sorry Evie." Mom guided me away as I let out little growls. We made it down to the kitchen without bumping into anyone else. I was given painkillers and ice-cream. I sat outside on the bench hiding and messing about with my ice cream.

"Mind if I join you?" It was Carlos. Him I adored, he was the only one out of the four VK's that didn't expect something. He just rolled with whatever you gave him.

"Be my guest." I chuckled he saw down across from me.

"Heard you snapped at Evie." I shrugged.

"Do you ever feel like you're missing something?" I wonder

"A lot. Why'd you ask?"

"I've heard what's been going on the past year, and something between now and then. I decide it's a good idea to do a memory spell, wiping any memory of you guys and what's happened." he sat there and listened "No one will tell me the truth, what was so bad. Ben says nightmares but everyone get's nightmares." he looked torn.

"I'm not saying you have to tell me. That's not what I'm getting at. Something wrong though. I can just feel it in here." I point to my heart I sigh "I don't know maybe I've gone mad like the hatter."

"How bad does it feel?"

"It's gonna sound silly."

"Try me." he says and I huff out a breath.

"Like the world is ending."
