Chapter Three: Hey Lauren!

Chapter Three

** KIM'S POV **

I sat on the couch in SSU"s lobby and stared at the window. I saw my sister bumping into a boy-- but who was he? That's when I noticed that he had brown curly hair with beautiful green eyes... HARRY!

Luckily, she avoided him by just running away from the scene.

I think he did that on purpose. Why? Because the night he decided to break his friendship with Kaitlyn up, I received a text and it was from Courtney, one of Kaitlyn's bestfriends. (AN: Kim was 9 here.)

TO: KIMMY

September 16, 8:10pm

MAE-MAE: KIMMY, I WANT U 2 KNOW THAT HARRY LOVES UR SIS. HE TOLD ME AN HOUR AGO VIA TXT. AND HE DIDN'T MEAN THOSE WORDS. KEEP THIS A SECRET. DON'T TELL UR SIS, OK?

I was thinking of what else happened that night, but I couldn't remember. That's when Lauren, my sister's other bestfriend, sat beside me and jabbed me on the elbow.

Probably because I was staring on the window and she probably thought I was staring at it because it said what the meaning of life really is.

"Oh! Sorry about that, Lau!" I apologized, looking at her.

"Nah, that's okay, Kimmy," replied Lauren, who was smiling. "But, why were you staring at the window? Does it say what the meaning of life really is?" She asked teasingly.

"Huh? Of course not!" I cried. "It's because Kait bumped into Harry. And you know what is what... right?"

But Lauren didn't put two and two together. "Huh? What do you mean?"

I looked at the corners to make sure there was no one there but us. Luckily, the school guards were busy doing some paperwork. So I whispered about that thing with Lauren.

"Oh, that!" exclaimed Lauren. That's when Kaitlyn entered the building.

"Hey, sis, it's time to go to our classrooms. It's almost 7:15am. It's 6:53am on my phone. Trust me... it's not advanced." She said, trying to act cooly nonchalant about the thing that happened like, 10 minutes ago or something.

I nodded and got up. The three of us walked together to our seperate classrooms.

"So... Lauren, what happened to your sis? Is she present today?" Kaitlyn asked Lauren, who was staring at the ground while walking.

"Yeah. Already in the classroom, studying." replied Lauren, looking at Kaitlyn. "I swear. My twin is so nerdy. But I love her." She mimicked Sandra's-the school's biggest bitch-voice on the last part, then we all laughed.

"I like Lauren's sense of humor," somebody said. "Yeah! She managed to mimick Sandra's obnoxious and annoying voice." Another voice added. And that's when I noticed it's Nikki and Vikki, who were both members of the "Fun Club," founded by Rikki. Actually, they're triplets. Fraternal, I guess? 'cos they don't really look the same.
