"Like I said, there is no way Jaxon," you kept telling Dean, "could do that."

"What if you just didn't see him?"

"Then I'm the most blind person ever. He's six foot two, and stood in the living room. I'd have to be blind if I didn't see him. If I couldn't see him I could have smelled him." you kept telling him the same thing, but Dean wouldn't listen, "You don't believe me?"

"That's not what I said."

"Fine," you looked him dead in the eye, "You wear cologne almost every single day, except when you wear a suit. Because the cologne you chose to wear makes you smell like you've been working on your car all day. You know, in the best way possible." you turned to Sam, "You almost never wear cologne, but when you do, you pick a scent that makes you smell like you've been living in a library, which really isn't that different from when you don't put on anything. Because you're walking in and out of library's for information. Also in the best way possible."

They looked at you.

"Now, like I said. I didn't even smell his cologne when I walked through the door, that's the thing. That's what I'm confused about. He wasn't there when I walked in, but after I searched the place, he was standing right in the middle of the room."

"Go through it again." Sam said.

"So I went back to my room to take a shower. I went to unlock the door but it was already unlocked."

"Did you forget to lock it?" Dean asked.

You shook your head, "No. I always lock everything. Otherwise, I'd probably be arrested."

"Anyway," you continue, "I knew something was off, you know hunter thing, so I opened the door and turned on the lights. No one was there, I continued looking around, under the table, counter. I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge, I don't know why, and there was a single drink missing from it. So I went to the bathroom thinking that there was someone hiding there. But there was no one there, so I turn around and there he was, standing in front of the couch."

"Is that it?"

No... "Yeah, that was it."

"You said something before you hung up."

"Oh, yeah. I ran out of the apartment, that's when I knocked on your door, but he was already at my doorway so I ran to the lobby."

Sam looked at you, "That's it?"

"Yeah."

Y/n's POV

I bet you're wondering 'Why didn't you tell him?' well their is a simple answer for that:

Because I didn't want to.

It's as simple as that, I didn't want to. There was no point in telling the truth, so I told a little white lie.

"Y/n, come here for a second." Sam said.

Me and Sam were in your motel room, investigating more.

I turned around and went to Sam, he showed me a computer, "This is Jaxon right? Jaxon Leandra?"

"Yeah..." I looked down at his profile, "Wait— this says he died..."

Then I looked at the date he died, "...four days before we met..."

I backed away from the computer, and covered my mouth, "He died."

"Are you okay, Y/n?" Sam asked closing the computer.
