Adrik opened the door to the house slowly. Not trying to make any sound he quietly made his way, passed his fathers room, and into his. He found his phone sitting on his bed. He picked it up and looked at the time: 12:34 am. Adrik grabbed his school backpack, although he wasn't in school because it was the summer, and started putting things in it like money and food he had grabbed from the kitchen.

"You cant leave!" cried his brother from his doorway.

"Mom did, so can I" he replied, putting his backpack on and putting his phone in his pocket. He stood up and looked at his brother. He saw hatred in his eyes, something he hasn't see before in his brother. Adrik walked passed him and headed to front door.

"Its just like Arrows Vs. Swords! you'll-" Adrik shut the door behind him before he could finish. why does he keep saying that, its just a board game. Arrows Vs. Swords is a board game (a bit like chess) where on one side there are 10 archers and a king and on the other side are 10 swordsmen and a king. The goal is to kill your opponents king.

Adrik walked for at least half an hour before he got to the train station. Did he wake father yet, what if they know where I'm going. He started to worry. He gave the last of his money for a train ticket to Germany, he only had a few coins left.

The train arrived minutes later. Adrik hopped on and took a seat next to a much older man. He looked out the window as the train started moving and started to see the landscape of his home that he might never see again.
