A New Year Special

henlo, im making a new year special where all of the member of the dream smp is celebrating the fact that 2020 is fucking gone. the next chapter of Betrayal of A Friend will probably be publish in 4 days approx.

and yes happy new year from me to you guys. i love you all, thanks for reading/viewing my book<3 300+ reads might not be a lot for you guys, but it is for me. so thank you from the bottom  of my heart. i love you all, always :)

now onto the chapter :D

"Tommy, hurry up! The countdown is almost at 10" Tubbo shouted at his friend looking at the clock on his screen. Tommy hold the control button in reaction not wanting to miss the countdown even if he was just staring at Tubbo's Minecraft skin on the Dream SMP, at least it was still something better than not attending the countdown party in the server.

Everyone was huddled up in the middle making a circle whilst they were trying to sync their counting but can't because of timezones. It was 11:59:50 for the people that lives in the UK, so they were to celebrate first.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6" They all counted the timer on Tubbo's screen because he was streaming it on discord so everyone could see. Yes, everyone and by everyone I mean everyone that was permanent in the server, not them who are just there for the server tour(sorry lol).

Tommy's heart was racing as he reminisce back the memories he made with all of the member of the SMP. For example with Tubbo, he made many memorable things with him like fighting against Dream, speaking to his sister, meeting up with him, and many more that the author can't even remember.

He quickly snapped out of his cloud of memories to see that the timer was already on 4, he didn't even notice that Tubbo was shaking him so they can count together and starting the new year together like always.

The firework machine's lever was flicked so the redstone could work its magic for the firework show. It was majestic, really pretty, and very beautiful. Everyone stared at the Minecraft night sky as it was dust with twinkling stars, and the firework show made it a whole lot better especially with shaders on. It was a lovely night even though those who are still living in 2020 they were still happy.

"Happy new year, bud!" Tommy cheerfully said to Tubbo as Tubbo's Minecraft character turns to Tommy's Minecraft character to look at him. "Happy new year too, Tommy" he responded with the same tone as Tommy's.

2020 might have not be the best year for the world, but it was for Tommy. He gets to see his best bud grow his channel almost as big as his in months and he couldn't be more happy with that.

After talking around with almost all of the member of the SMP except for Technoblade, Philza, and Wilbur some of the members left to go see their family, some of them goes to another VC to hang out to wait for the start of 2021 but Tommy, Tubbo, Technoblade, Philza, Wilbur, Niki, Fundy, Ranboo, and Eret, stayed in VC 2. There was nobody talking so Tommy started the conversation between them all.

"So how are you all?" he asked everyone in the VC of course, everyone was silent for a moment until Techno answered with a short but simple "I'm doing pretty good". The others answered back at him and sparked a conversation that would almost last for an hour, it was almost like a podcast. And everyone was streaming it so the chat gets to join in because Philza wanted them to feel like they're apart of this conversation between the group. It was pretty wholesome of him, though some of them did asked some weird question that the author won't specify what they are.

But it was time for them all to end the stream, it was getting kind of tiring for them to continue to stream after those talking. All of them left VC 2, but not Tommy and Tubbo as they were still talking about some would say mundane stuff. But for Tommy and Tubbo it was interesting since it could keep them talking about it for minutes.

"So what are you gonna do for this year, Tubbo?" Tommy asked him wanting to know what his plans for the next weeks are. Tubbo thought about it for the longest time until he came up with basically nothing so he answered with an "I don't really know if I'm being honest". That answered satisfied Tommy a bit since he too doesn't know what to do in 2021.

And so, it was time to departure from the VC. They were getting tired since they didn't sleep very well they last day. They were to busy planning about how great the firework show would be in they do it in L'manberg. So they say their goodbyes and love yous but no homo because they're minors and they've said that it is very weirdchamp to ship them. Tubbo left the game and the VC first then followed with Tommy leaving the VC and the server last because he looked around the server to reminisce again. And then he left the VC and log out of the server.

He hopes that this year, good shit will happen from now on. New season, new Minecraft update, and new scripts to write.

well that was it folks. a not too long but not too short new year special chapter. i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoy writing it in sleep deprived mode. i promise no mistakes were made since i am still half awake, but of i did made a mistake like maybe comment on it so i can fix it.
