10 Forgotten Things in ATLA

Of course me being me, I had to bring Avatar into this. The Gaang will forever be treasured.

Ah HERE WE GO AGAIN

1. Aang saved the whole fucking world when he was 12 YEARS OLD. ONLY TWELVE FUCKING YEARS GUYS. Like he learned that he was the only hope for the ENTIRE FUCKING UNIVERSE TO EXIST at TWELVE. I sure as hell know that if I got that responsibility placed on my currently 18 year old ass right now I sure as hell wouldn't be able to do all the things he did when he was a KID.

2. After their mom's death, Sokka had a mother figure while Katara didn't. Now I put this here because A LOT of people seem to forget this *cough* Making memes of Katara's trauma *cough* . But even Sokka said that Katara grew up before childhood even properly started and took the role of a mother in his life, and whenever he tried to think of his mom's face, the only face he saw was Katara's. While Sokka actually had a 'mother', Katara never got one, because she put herself inthe position of their mom Kya after her death. Imagine how painful it must've been for her to do that all by herself when she was 8 YEARS OLD.

3. Azula was gonna kill Zuko with no hesitation. She even said it when she told him she was celebrating becoming an only child. She was actually gonna kill him and she nearly did

4. Toph and Katara are the only two people in all of ATLA that mastered all the sub-elements of their bending style

5. Sokka was smarter than most of us and had a creative way of thinking outside the box, which can be seen in various episodes

6. Azula's name literally means blue with a female suffix in Spanish, which also kinda makes sense because her fire is blue, so I think it was intentional.

7. Toph literally created a WHOLE NEW BENDING STYLE just to prove to some assholes that she was the best earthbender ever

8. Ty Lee joined the Kyoshi warriors when she didn't want to be a part of a match set. Aren't you joining a match set though?

9. King Bumi was gonna crystallize Katara and Sokka which would eventually kill them. NANI?!

10. Sokka is 3 years older than Toph
