It has been 3 months since Lyric's first treatment. Her uncles call all the time for video chats. Lyric constantly talks about them. When it is not about the things they talk about, it is about all the gifts they have sent. We had to literally reorganize her room to make space for all the things they have sent. All BT21 stuffed characters have made a home on the bed. BTS albums sit on a shelf along with magazines and a binder filled with pictures and stickers, beside her little desk. Above her desk, hanging on the wall is another shelf filled with dolls and other BTS merchandise. Butterflies were removed to be replaced with more BTS posters. The butterflies didn't stand a chance.

The maknae line send her videos to watch and keep her occupied while she takes her treatment. They say it is to help motivate her into getting better. All of them talk to me as well. It is mostly the hyung line, but every now and then I get a text from the younger ones.
I am in the kitchen preparing dinner while Steph and Mom play with Lyric in the living room. It being Saturday, we all had decided (more like Lyric decided) to go to the zoo. After all the squeals and giggles from her interacting with the animals, we came home just in time for me to start cooking dinner.
I just finished draining the grease off the meat and had added the cheese and Tater tots. I was putting it back in the oven to finish when my phone rang. Shutting the oven, I quickly set the oven mitts down to pick up the phone to see Namjoon calling through video chat. I sit at the counter and answer to see all the members smushed together on a couch, squeezing in to see the screen. They all smile once they notice me and a chorus of Hellos are said.
" hey guys! How's all my boys doing?" I ask and watch as a few of the boys blush.
"We are good. How are our girls doing?" This from Namjoon. My brain is screaming (Did He just call me BTS's girl?)
"We had a pretty good day today. Mom, Steph and Me took our precious little cuddle bug to the Zoo today. Don't worry. I took pics and will send them along with the videos I recorded."
"That is great. I can't wait to see them. What are you all doing now?" Namjoon asks.
"I am in the middle of cooking dinner. We are having my meatloaf tater tot casserole with sautéed brussel sprouts." (A/N I know brussel sprouts are not a big favorite like broccoli, but if you fried it in butter with a little garlic, lemon pepper and add cheese when done, it is pretty freaking good, but that's my opinion)
"Wow. That sounds interesting, I would like to try that."
"Maybe I will get the chance to cook it for you guys someday. Wanna see it?"
I see them shake their heads and switched the camera around showed them the casserole in the oven and then showed them the Brussel sprouts slowly sautéing on the stove while stirring them. Jin makes a comment about wanting to climb through the phone, which caused us all to laugh.
"Oh, Lucinda, we have some news for you. Are you and the family serious about wanting us to come down still?" Namjoon asked.
"Yes, we are, Joon. Lyric is even trying to plan y'alls sleeping arrangement."
"That's cute. Well I talked to PD Nim and he actually thought it would be a great idea to visit for vacation."
"Really? That is great news. Let me give the phone to Lyric so y'all can tell her."
I walked into the living room real quick and handed the phone to Lyric. " Here, baby, talk to your uncles."
I stand back and wait to see her reaction. Sure enough, not 2 minutes later, she starts screaming and jumping in excitement. I grab the phone in fear that she might drop it. I lift it up to see all of them laughing so hard , that a few were wiping their eyes. Poor Jimin had disappeared completely just to reappear, picking himself up out the floor and wiping his eyes. Lightly laughing, I walk back into the kitchen.
"Yeah, guys, I don't think she is excited at all." I jokingly say.
We talked for a few more minutes before making plans to discuss our vacation plans later. I then sent all of them the pics and videos from earlier today. I next put dinner on the table and called everyone in to eat. I sit Lyrics plate down just as she comes bouncing in, still excited over the news. With all that has happened tonight, I will be amazed if I get through a lullaby tonight without her crashing on me.
Thats it..... I don't have but 3 major chapters left: the rest are just going to be fillers. They can range from long to short, depending on the subject and ideas. The 3 major chapters will be at the end. I am thinking of doing it this way:
1) The Climax Chapter
2) The Sad Ending
3) The Happy Ending
