IzukuThe apartment complex where you lived was swarming with stray animals. Dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds were everywhere. You didn't mind it much, having a fondness for animals.
While walking through your complex, you breathed in the fresh, fresh air. It felt refreshing and peaceful, with hardly any sounds disturbing the quiet morning. Strays and wild animals sometimes accompany you during your morning walks in hopes of having you as an owner or some food.
A few hours after feeding and spending time with the ducks, you decided to head back to your apartment. You checked your watch. You had a few minutes to enjoy ice cream at the amenities center. With that, you went towards the amenities center.
You heard loud chirping, thinking it was just the bird sounds you were listening to with your headphones. When the sound didn't subside, you looked around to see where it was coming from, and felt a little nip, one of the ducklings from earlier followed you, their family wasn't anywhere in sight and a hawk was piercing its eyes on the helpless duckling waiting to strike at any moment. You would have felt guilty if you left it for food, so you decided to take it into your home until it was at least able to survive on its own.
Although your apartment wasn't exactly duckling-ready, at least you had someone to stay with for a while.
Katsuki
"No" "But-" "No" Right now, you're trying to convince your father to get a pet but so far all your attempts have failed. You even made him a 12-slide PowerPoint presentation, but alas it didn't work.
You groaned in frustration. "I already have a rat still running around here what makes you think I need another one?" He spat, deciding you not start a fight with your father you kept your mouth shut. Suddenly, Katsuki's phone rang, the agency needed him Iimmeditaly, so he fixed himself up a little and left, leaving you by yourself and bored out of your mind, your main source of entertainment gone. In the end, you decided to go to your neighbor's house, who was also your friend.
Without even knocking your friend, Akira opened the door wide open and dragged you inside. "Damn okay, Akira I didn't know my arm was a game of tug of war." Akira chuckled as you rubbed your arm. Akira led you around their house until you both were in front of a room you'd never seen before or maybe you just never paid attention to it. "Before I open this door are you allergic to any animals?" You shook your head "No that I know off." With that Akira revealed what was behind the mysterious door. Rabbits. Cute fluffy rabbits.
"Woah Akira where did you get these cute little rabbits from?" You said as you fawned over the many rabbits in your path. It may seem overwhelming but I've just been taking care of them since the mother abandoned them a few months ago. Would you like one? Eight rabbits are sort of overkill.
Akira handed over the needed supplies and you what you needed to do to take care of Buster. Probably won't remember what they said in a few hours; oh well.
It had been a few long hours, Buster was fast asleep and you were on your way to sleep also. The front door unlocked signifying that Katsuki was home.
"I- (Y/N) WHY THE HELL IS THERE RABBIT SHIT EVERYWHERE!!!"

You were driving at the speed of light towards your uncle Toya's house. He texted you saying something urgent was happening to your father and needed you quickly. Your heart was beating rapidly and worry-filled your body, thinking about the worst possible thing that happened to your dad. With so much anxiety you even contemplated running red lights to get there quicker.
