Chapter 4
With that we begin learning and learning each day and we’re getting good at it. Then finally the day we can test our skill. Like David said he will come back to get my answer.
That day we were still practicing and in came David and his group.
“Hey Julie.” He said. “Come here babe.”
“No.” I said.
“No?” He said. “Did you want something bad to happen to him?”
“Give it your best try.” Andy said.
“Huh.” David group said.
“Go on you heard him.” David said to his group.
“Julie come here.” David said while pulling me in.
“Let go of me.” I said.
“Make me.” Andy said.
“How did you…...Ahhh!” David said running away.
His group ran right after David did. I stood there watching them run away and laugh.
“Did you get hurt?” I asked.
“No.” Andy said smiling.
“I wish my prince was here to see that you help.” I said.
“Prince?” Andy asked.
“Yeah.” I said.
Andy suddenly turn over to me and came closer.
“Its getting late I got to go.” I said.
“Wait.” He said while grabbing my arm.
“Bye.” I said running inside.
When I got downstairs, I saw that my parents were packing the stuff back inside.
“What going on?” I asked.
“We’re going to move.” My mom said.
“Go give this to Mrs. D.” My dad said while handing me an envelope.
“But…” I said.
“No but.” My mom said.
I went upstairs to Mrs. D. who was sitting there watching movie.
“Mrs. D. this is for you it from my parent.” I said.
“Please call me your Aunt D.” She said.
“I couldn’t.” I said.
“We’re going to be neighbor.” She said. “Your dad is not working for me
neither is your mom anymore.”
“Why?” I asked.
“Your dad found a job at the police station.” She said still not touching the
envelope.
“Here Aunty D.” I said.
“No that for your parents for helping our family out Julie.” She said.
“Thank you so much Aunty D.” I said.
“You welcome my Julie.” She said.
I ran back downstairs to hand my parents the envelope and then ran outside to tell Andy. I saw him talk to two boys,
“Hi everyone.” I said.
“Hi.” The boy with a chain on his school uniform said.
“Hey.” The boy with the baggy pant said.
“This is Marco.” Andy said pointing to the chain boy.
“And this is Johnny.” He said pointing at the one with the baggy pant.
Preview of Chapter 5:
“I’m Julie.” I said smiling. “And guess what I’m moving.”
“What?!” Andy said looking angry. “Where?!”
“Calm down I’m just moving next door.” I said.
Andy sighs in return. I guess he doesn’t want to see me go. We talk a couple more minute and found out lot of new stuff about Marco and Johnny. Marco family is rich while Johnny is in between rich and poor like Andy family and soon to be me. Then we play and play till it was time to be home. I move in to the new house that night too but I had in Aunty D.’s house in Andy room because my room is not set up.
