Chapter 4: Into the Wonders of space

"Alright kiddy's you heard Chandler that I'm in charge and I don't want any fooling around, okay?" my dad asked everyone next to the lever. I sunk down into my seat. After he finished I saw Pink wispered something to Blue and he laughed out loud. "Well, well, well is there something you want to say, Mr. Blue?" "Uh-," said Blue trying to hold in his laughter. "No not really," he said and coughed. "Well I think you should tell us, just for fun," repiled my dad. Sunk lower into my seat and Yellow (next to me) was watching very closely.  "Well.. um, you see sir-" "Captain," replied my dad. Blue laughed a little and countinued, "Captain you see... Pink made a joke-" Blue started. "What? Snice when are we blamming the woman's in the room?" my dad asked and laughed. "Well, I don't think so buddy." "Um, sir- Captain, I have a name you know-" "OF CORSE I KNOW THAT!" yelled my dad. "But guess what Blue. I'm in charge here so you better zip it or there will be so bad things around here." Yellow leaned over to my and wispered, "Is this really your dad?" she asked shocked. I sighed and said, "yeah." "You two are nothing alike," she replied. "Yeah, I know." Then we both put our attention back on my father. 

"There are camras around here, and the whole team outside- including Chandler can see what is going on right now. So that is why I am trying to friendly." my dad siad nearly chocking Blue. Blue quickly nodded his head. "You know I could just let us all die in space-" he started but everyone was quick to their feet and stood up and yelled, "NO!" "Okay, okay gezze I'm sorry. Didn't know it would scare y'all. Especially Blue, you should have seen your face! It wasd treroized!" my dad laughed and walked back to the lever. He pulled it and a voice, like Chandler's started to countdown. "10...9," it started. "You alright?" my dad asked sitting next to me. "Good, I guess," I said looking down at my feet. "What?" he asked. "You were... you were just, adgressive." "Clyde listen, I was adgressive because that darn Blue was being straight up-" "3...2...1...," as the voice stopped there was a lot of rumbling. "Get your belts on everyone!" my dad yelled and I put mine on. But Allison was having so troble. "Here it goes," I started putting my hand on her belt. "Like this...," I said fadding off as I clipped it togther. We stared at each other for a moment or two then my father anouced, "We have a short anouncment!" "Yeah, me and the Captain got an anoucment from Chandler that there is a free ship north from us. It will take around half hour to get to it. Remeber it will take us a little longer, there will be some people departing from the last use of the ship," said  Rune in a Dark Green suit.  

I woke up to a hault and found Allison on sleeping on my sholder. I sighed and looked out of a small window. "Psst- Cyan," I heard a voice hiss at me. I looked around at most people just staring at their phones or sleeping but before I could find who was talking to me I heard Chandler's voice boom out of the speaker. "WAKE UP SLEEPY HEADS!" he yelled and everyone (inculding my self) jolted up. "We are pulling up to Skeld. The navigators are making their way over. You have 5 minutes, I hope to see all of you alive next time," he said and a clack noise over head. "Well thats our cue," said Pink and stretch.

The two big doors opened and two men step out in uniforms. "Okay we are helping you make your way over to the ship Skeld," one of them said. "You-!" he said and pointed at Lime and she jummped up in shock. Lime was shaking as she got hooked up. He pressed the 'door' button and the back two doors opened. I watched them float away, thinking how would she survive. 'Oh great, I might be next,' I thought. "You!" barked the other man, pointing at Black. The man grabbed his arm but Black swatted it away. "Dont touch me," he mumbled. "What? Im sorry but I need to put this on you," said the man. "I CAN DO IT BY MY SELF!" roared Black and grabbed the pack out of the man's trembling hands. Black attaches his line and jumps off. "Well, rest of you join in a line," says the man. Allison and me stand up but Blue and Pink walk over and Blue takes Allison's by her arm. "Lets go," he says and he and Pink turn on on their heal. 'Okay?' I thought and fallow them.

Once we were in line the man ask me to come forward. "You, put this on," he said. I grabbed the pack out of his hands and attached it to a big long rope. "Wait!" called my dad. "I'll go with him." "Y-yes sir," the man said and handed a orange pack to my dad and attached another rope. "Your clear to go." My dad jumped off the ship and I fallowed. I was so scared that I was going to die but I just floated. "Come on kid!" yelled my dad. And I fallowed.

It was fun, it felt like swimming just... without water. My dad pressed a button and he hoped up and help me up too. As I hoped up I saw in inside of a space ship with the first man, Black, Lime and my father looking down at me. I felt at home on the ship. It felt complete. I felt that my job just begun.
