Candor or Dauntless

Tris’s P.O.V

 

Christina drags me into another store. it’s the 6th one. so far we have 20 bags full of clothes EACH. As we walk in Christina asks me, “So Tris you got your eye on any guys?”

I want to tell her about Tobias, but I can’t so I answer with, “Oh I got FOUR in mind.” I give myself a mental high five. I look at my phone and see we have 20 minutes till the party starts. “Christina, we only have 20 minutes,” happy to change the topic.

“OMG why didn’t you tell me earlier? We still have to get you ready!” she screams dragging me out of the store. I spend the next 20 minutes getting redone by Christina. Then she takes 10 minutes to get ready. We are 10 minutes late.

“Come on Chris we are already late!” I say dragging her away from the mirror. We walk to Zeke’s apartment. When we pass through the pit I notice it is quite empty, that is very unusual. When I walk into Zeke’s I realize why, it looks like the whole faction is there. Then I see Tobias, he’s staring at me. I look down as I blush. He walks over to me and whispers, “You look good Tris.”

Just then Zeke see’s Christina and I he yells “If I don't know you or your not a new member of Dauntless GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” Everyone boos then starts to walk out the door. Soon it’s just 15 of us.

“Who's ready for some Candor or Dauntless?” Uriah screams.

“Since it’s my house I get to go first.” Zeke exclaims. “Four my buddy, Candor or Dauntless?”

I am pretty sure Tobias is going to pick Dauntless because he has so much to hide about his past. And as usual I am right.

“Dauntless” Tobias says confidently. Zeke is staring at him with an evil look in his eyes.

“I dare you to kiss all the girls you would date in this room.” Zeke says smirking and wiggling his eyebrows and Tobias. I watched Tobias get up and start walking towards me. I am kinda scared because I feel like all of our friends are going to freak out. In the middle of my thoughts I feel Tobias’s lips against mine. I don’t want the kiss to end, but I pull away mainly because everyone in the room has their jaws to the ground.

There is complete and utter silence until Christian shrieks “OMG YOU WERE DATING FOUR AND DIDN'T TELL ME?” Everyone starts talking at once. The boys are slaping Tobias on the back saying, “Wow finally you got a girl!”

        The girls were squealing, well all except lynn who is never very girly. I think they were more excited about me and Four dating then I was. Then Zeke got everyone quiet and said “ Now lets continue our game.”
