Chapter 9

Naruto stood firm behind Mei while his mother stood next to him. Behind the two we're the kneeling forms of Jun and Daichi. Both of whom were promised to be punished.

Mei sat across from Minato, who was trying to be calm, "It's nice to finally meet Kiri's ambassador," he said, occasionally glancing at the armored warriors behind her.

"Yes, it's nice to finally meet the Yellow Flash of Konoha in the flesh as well," Mei replied keeping her features as stoic as she could.

"Ahem...well shall we talk about the Chunin Exams?"

"Please do, I wish to know what's so important about these exams," Apollyon asked in a bored tone.

"Yes, sorry, but what's your name?" Minato asked.

"I am Apollyon and this is my son, Abaddon," Apollyon replied as she patted Naruto's shoulder. Underneath Narutos helmet, he held a smirk as he saw Minato's face went into a sad frown.

"Son, huh?" Minato asked, a bit of envy shot through him.

"Indeed," Apollyon replied.

"You know, I once had a son... but he's gone now, and there's nothing I can do," Minato said as Naruto shook his head.

"I can tell you one thing, Hokage-sama, he's more than likely in a better place," Naruto said, Minato clenched his fist, not out of anger of what the Blackstone heir said but out of anger towards himself.

"Excuse m-"

"Minato! Is it true?! Is she here?!" Kushina shouted as she busted through the door.

"Kushina, what are you doing here?!" Minato shouted, but Kushina ignored him in favor of looking at Naruto. Her body started to shake as she slowly walked toward him, "N-Naruto-kun?" Kushina asked.

"Namikaze," Naruto replied, reaching for his poleaxe as Kushina edged closer towards him.

"I-it's really you," Kushina stuttered as Apollyon moved between them, stopping Kushina from getting closer to the son she, her family and the village drove away.

"I would advise you back away before I do something," Apollyon said as she stared down Kushina.

"And who are you to get between me and my son?" Kushina questioned, staring down the armored woman.

"His true mother, sow"

"Bullshit! That's my son!" Kushina shouted as she tried to push past Apollyon when the ladder grabbed her by the arm.

"Get. Away. From. My. Son." Apollyon said as Kushina looked behind her and saw two red orbs glowing behind Apollyons mask

"Let go of my arm before I take yours," Kushina replied as Apollyon cocked her head

"Is that a threat?" The occupants of the room could hear the amusement in her voice.

"It's a promise,"

"I told you it was a good idea to follow them," Daichi whispered to Jun.

"Just a few seconds ago you were saying you were gonna kill me, go fuck yourself. We still might die,"

"I would like to see you try," Apollyon said as she spun her sword in one hand and held the blade to Kushina's throat. Kushina gritted her teeth as she pulled out a katana from behind her apron and held her blade to Apollyon's throat as well, "Seems this little sheep has fangs... but is it more than that?" Apollyon commented. ANBU suddenly appeared around them with their blades drawn and pointed at Apollyon, "Lady Apollyon! This is an act of aggression against the wife of Lord Hokage! Doing so is a violation of the peace during the Chunin Exams!" ANBU captain Dragon said but the Warlord kept her blade against Kushina's throat.
