Lay the table with the fancy shit and watch you tolerate it...

Amelia walked through the towns of New York in a hurry. She wasn't in LA because she had gone home to see her mother May. Amelia always made time for her mother. She admired her for being so strong even though Amelia's dad left them when she was only four years old.

She was currently on her way to the nearest coffee shop. She walked through the doors of the cafe. A couple girls came running up asking for a picture. Amelia happily agreed taking the pictures with the girls giving them each hugs. She then walked to the counter and order a large Carmel Macchiato. She paid the shop and then turned around and bumped into someone.

She quickly said sorry without even looking at their face and then she was met eye to eye with Nicole. Nicole was Timmy's mom. They had been very close while Timmy and her were dating. "Oh my gosh!" Amelia said giving Nicole a hug. "I've missed you dear!" Nicole said gladly taking the hug.

"How have you been?" Nicole asked Amelia. Amelia took a sip of her coffee and then told her about the movies she had been working on. Amelia didn't feel awkward when she talked to Nicole. "How's Timmy?" Amelia asked hesitantly. She didn't know if this would make the conversation awkward or not.

"He's doing so great, you saw him in Call Me By Your Name right?" Nicole asked the girl. The gave Nicole a big smile. "Of course he was amazing in it!" Amelia said with a sad smile. She did miss Timmy a lot. She had days in LA where she felt lonely. She also was in a relationship with a boy named Luke though.

"Timmy talks about you quite a bit!" Nicole says making Amelia let out a laugh. "Aww well you tell him I miss him a lot and maybe we can catch up soon!" Amelia says and Nicole quickly responds with "he'll be so happy to hear that." The two girls then hugged goodbye and Amelia walked back to her old home.

She walked into the door and hung up her coat. She then walked to the kitchen to see her mother. She handed her mom the coffee she got for her and then her mom quickly took a sip. "Is Luke still sleeping?" Amelia asked her mom who was reading a magazine. "Yeah" her mom said taking another sip of her coffee.

Amelia quickly walked to the pantry and made herself some toast. She scarfed it down pretty quickly before she could make up her mind whether or not she needed it. Throughout the years of Amelia acting she had developed a eating disorder. She was a recovering anorexic. Only her mom knew about it and was trying her best to help her.

Amelia had finally gotten to the point where she didn't look sick. She felt a lot better physically and mentally. There are times though where she is tested to fall back. She looked at her eating disorder as an addiction. She was obsessed over not eating and getting skinner and skinner and ultimately she knew that is was unhealthy but she almost wanted people to tell her that she looked to skinny. Those comments fueled the disorder and ultimately told her that it was working and she was getting skinner.

Amelia took small sips of her coffee scrolling through her phone. She heard a noise to her left and looked. There she saw Luke showered and ready for the day. "Good morning!" Amelia smiled walking up and hugging him. He gave Amelia a small kiss on the cheek and then walked to the pantry. He grabbed a cereal box and bowl and poured it in.

Amelia sat back down next to her mother. "What do you wanna do today?" Amelia's mom asked closing the magazine she was reading. "We should go to the one library that I use to go to" Amelia said excitedly. "That sounds like fun!" May said and the two girls looked at Luke for approval. "I think I'm gonna go to the baseball game that on today with a couple buddies" Luke said taking a bite of his cereal.

"Luke you haven't been very involved on this trip." Amelia said. It was true Luke hadn't gone anywhere with Amelia. He had spent the last few nights at the bars. "I'm sorry it's suppose to be a really good game I'll see you after!" Luke said putting a cap on and then grabbing his coat off the rack and left the home.

"Is he always like that?" May asked her daughter. Amelia sighed and looked at her mother. "Yup" is all she said before sitting back down in the chair. She then heard her phone ding. She looked down at it and saw a notification from her text messages.

It was a random number but Amelia knew who it was.

Hey, why didn't you tell me you were in the city?

Amelia took a deep breath. She felt a little nervous at the text but also bits of excitement. She carefully picked up her phone and typed back.

I assumed you were busy...

Amelia sat and waited for a reply back and then looked at her mother. "Mom Timmy just texted me!" She said with a bit of excitement. "Aww I miss Timotheè!" May said clapping her hands. "What does he want?" May asked.

"I don't know he just asked why I didn't tell him I was in the city" Amelia said. May sat up and grabbed her own phone. She started to dial a number into the phone. "What are you doing mom?" Amelia asked confused. "I'm calling Nicole to see if she wants to hang out." Amelia went wide eyed at her response.

"We are going to the library today!" Amelia said trying to tell her mom. "I'm not going to the library that you and Timmy fell in love" May quickly said before a voice picked up the phone. "May I missed you!" Nicole's voice came out. May quickly responded telling her how much she missed her.

"I was wondering if you wanted to catch up maybe go for a cup of coffee?" May asked Nicole who screamed out of joy into the phone. May laughed as she talked to Nicole. They then hung up making plans with each other.

"Nicole and I are going to get coffee so you're on your own" May said. "What the hell mom you just completely ditched me!" Amelia said a little angry. "Oh please go to the library without me!" May said grabbing her coat.

"Whatever" Amelia said putting on her shoes ready to go to the library. Amelia walked out and towards the streets of New York. She walked rather quickly having her pepper spray in her hand just in case. She walked to the large library.

She walked in and looked at the large murals that were painted on the ceilings and the gold walls. She then went towards the books and looked at them trying to find one that might be interesting. She honestly didn't like reading very much but she loved the way the library looked so she still tried to find a book.

"I thought you didn't like reading Millie?" She heard a voice making her jump. She quickly turned around giving the all too familiar boy a smile. "Maybe I like it now?" Amelia said with a smile. "So you do like reading now?" Timmy said with a small smile.

"No" Amelia said with a laugh. Timmy's laughed echoed throughout the library. "How are you Timmy?" Amelia walked up to him laughing giving him a hug. "Great, how are you?" Timmy said gladly hugging her back.

"I'm really good!" Amelia said with a smile. Timmy had missed her smile and her laugh. "Why are you here?" Amelia asked the boy. "I knew you would be here so I had to come" Timmy said with a smile.
