Chapter 35 - The party ( part 4 )

Cole POV
L- are you ok C- um this might seem random but is she mine?

As I asked that Lili looked at me like I just broke her heart in a million pieces. She slapped my face and said L- don't you ever think that after what you did to me. She walked away to go join the rest of the party. I mean it was a good question. Lili said Juliet was born three years ago, before we broke up we were on good terms so we did what all couples would do and I guess we didn't use protection so something could have happened there and she got pregnant and never told me. Then we broke up and somehow she convinced Derek that Juliet is his or she told him about us which is why he is looking at me all wired. Omg that makes total sense, man am I awesome or what! Anyway I walk out to where everyone is and they have just finished signing happy birthday to Juliet. They cut the cake and everyone has a slice. Then Juliet said she wanted to open her gifts so she did. She got a bunch of clothes and doctor toys. She also got some princess toys and she also got some matching outfits with Lili, Mads, Nessa, and Cami which I thought were really cute. It was about 11:30 pm and I was just talking with drew. D- so are we getting the old gang back together now or what! C- well I don't know if Lili would like that or not. D- well let's ask her. C- what no drew your drunk we can do it another time D- oh none sense Cole Ohhhh Lili. I see lili walk over here. D- would you be fine if Cole hangs out with us from now on??? L- that's fine by me I guess D- seeeeee Cole it wasn't that hard C- bro I literally didn't even ask you to do that but thank you Lili for not hating me. L- it's whatever our story is history now and plus I love being with Derek. C- ok. To be honest what she just said felt like someone stabbed my heart. It was a few seconds to midnight and everyone gathered around the tv to watch the ball drop in New York. Everyone- 5... 4 ... 3... 2... 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I see everyone kissing their significant other and I have no one so I just wait till Kj is done with mads and go hug him. I hug everyone else in the room and start to head out. Before I leave Lili stops me we step outside in the hallway and it looks like she's about to cry. C- Lilis what's wrong? L- Don't! Call me that anymore I don't like it C- oh ok what's wrong tho? L- She's yours I'm not going to tell her anything I just wanted you to know you can be in her life but not as her father, I will tell her when she's old enough to understand. I hug Lili C- thank you so much Lili and I completely understand if you don't want me in her life as her father. After that I walked to my car and drove home...
