Chapter 34 - The Party (part 3)

Lili Pov

Madelaine went to get me some water. I heard almost everyone downstairs scream out of excitement from someone at the door. Then I saw Mads running into the room. M- lili major problem Cole is here. L- WHAT! You mean Cole like Cole Sprouse like my ex-boyfriend like the father of my child who doesn't know THAT COLE!!! M- yes that Cole L- WHO INVITED HIM TO MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY PARTY! M- kj she said quietly L- ughhhh M- anyways Derek is on his way up and i suggest you tell him the truth before it gets out somehow also i told Kj, K byeee tell him. L- madelaine what did you just say! M- oh look its derek have fun! I just look at her and she winks at me. D- Hey Lili what's wrong are you ok? L- Yeah i'm fine look I have to tell you something really important and don't worry i get if you don't want to be with me anymore or hate me D- Hey hey no are you kidding me i could never hate you or leave you if its really that bad we could work it out. L- no you dont understand its worse than you think D- whatever it is we can work through it L- ok so um when we first got together i was actually pregnant and and. I started hyperventilating again. D- hey lili look at me look at me lili. I look at him with so much tears in my eyes. D- ok good now but your hand on my chest and follow my breathing ok. I nodded my head. He took two big breaths and I followed him, I finally got my breathing pattern back. D- ok are you ok L- yeah ok back to what i was saying. I took one more deep breath then started to talk again L- when we got together i had just ended a relationship with a man that i really loved, and then i met you and i fell in love with you. L- then Juliet came and I just couldn't tell you the truth, the truth is um... D- she's not actually mine is she. L- no she's not Derek and i'm so sorry for not telling you i was just how do you tell someone that it's not her daughter and you looked so happy when she first came i just couldn't tell you. D- so you waited all these years to tell me then when you do tell me, you tell me on Juliet's birthday! He yelled D- why did you tell me today better yet why haven't you told me? L- i didn't tell you sooner because you love juliet so much and i want her to heaven  father who loves her so much and even if she's not yours she loves you so much and i can't take that away from her or from you because i  love you so much and i don't want to lose you. D- lili I already told you you're not going to lose me I love you so much it's just that i wish you would have told me earlier. L- ok good i love you too, there's one more thing tho, um he's here D- whos here? L- my ex D- what!! Why is he here who invited him? L- um im not sure but he is and i need you to promise me you wont do anything to him or to make a scene, ok D- ok. He looks so angry L- ok let's go downstairs and celebrate OUR daughter's birthday! D- ok let's go L- actually let me fix my makeup because i probably look like a monster. D- um are you crazy you could never look like a monster you're so beautiful but um you should fix your mascara. We both let out a little chuckle. L- oh wow thank you for that. D- hey i told you your beautiful L- fine you can go downstairs you don't have to wait for me. D- I'll be waiting at the stairs. L- ok. I fix my makeup and go downstairs.

    Derek Pov

To be honest I'm a little mad about this whole situation but I know that i literally could never hate Lili. I love her so much. I go to the washroom that's  in the hallway and just splash some water on my face so it doesn't look like I was crying. I mean like come on i'm a doctor. I should have known that Lili gave birth way earlier than normal. I guess I was just caught up in the moment.

Cole Pov

It was 4:30 so i decided to go home and get changed. Once I got changed I drove to the house and saw a lot of very familiar faces... 

When I walked into the house everyone screamed out of excitement to see me, I was very confused why everyone was excited to see me. I thought they all hated me. Kj- Hey Cole! Ch- Cole how are you i missed you Ca- Cole how are you? V- Omg is that Cole! C- hey guys how are you all Ch- were good bro we missed you so much C- yeah well i thought you all hated me Ca - well to be honest we did at first then kj told us what happened. C- oh well i missed you guys to and thanks Kj Kj- no problem bro C- im glad to have my friends back. Madelaine handed me a drink M- to having Cole back! All- TO HAVING COLE BACK! We all cheered and took a sip of our drinks. We separated and I went to go talk to Kj. C- hey Kj were should i put the gift Kj- oh the table is right over there. He points to a table and i go put the gifts on the table and i walk back to Kj. C- so whos birthday party is this Kj- ohits my nieces birthday party her name is Juliet C- oh cool um do you guys still hangout with Lili because I don't see her also who is that man standing at the stairs? Kj- first of course we still hangout with Lili. I'm pretty sure I told  you that and oh look there's lili coming down now. I stop listening to kj and look at Lili coming down the stairs. She looks so beautiful. I just stare at her coming down then I see her reach her hand out when I look at who she's reaching for. It's that random man at the stairs. I kept looking at them, maybe they were just friends, as soon as I thought that they kissed. I felt rage flow throughout my body. I don't know why I was angry but I just hate looking at that. I finally got out of my head when I saw that this man was staring at me. Kj- hey cole are you listening to me C- yeah yeah um so who is that man? Kj- Lili's fiancee C- oh ok what! Lilis who?! Kj- Lili's fiancee C- oh oh ok when did she get engaged? Kj- um about two years ago but they got together three years ago C- wait what three years ago that's when we broke up. Kj- yeah they got together about 2 months later. C- two months after we broke up really that quick Kj- yeah they went to the same party got drunk and hooked up and they've been together ever since. C- wow. I was kind of sad that it only took her two months to get over us but it's whatever i'm happy for her i guess. I see them start to walk up to me and I kind of get a little scared. D- hey kj how are you? Kj- depends how are you? D- oh i'm a little off but im perfectly fine. Kj- that good bro D- yeah and who is this? Her looks to me Kj- oh this is Cole Sprouse an old friend of mine. I was about to stick my hand to shake his hand then I saw Lili whisper something in his ear. His face turned from a smile to a face full of rage and sadness. He looks at me disgusted and just says D- nice to meet you Cole im Derek Shepard Lili's fiancee. My face just drops C- oh nice to meet you. He lets out a little smirk like he won something and they walk away. I turn to kj and he looks at me confused C- omg that's her fiance? Kj- yeah why? C- its just i don't even know what to say im blown away that Lili already has a finance. Kj was about to say something but I walked away before he could say anything. I go to the washroom and splash some water on my face and get back to the party. I go to the table where all the drinks are and i grab one next thing I know i'm drawing my sadness in alcohol.

Lili Pov

When I walked down the stairs I saw Derek waiting for me at the bottom. D- well hello beautiful L- hello my love. I bring me in for a kiss. When we pull away Derek leads me towards Kj. I see someone is standing with him. The man turns around to show that it's none other than COLE SPROUSE! Honestly my body is full of ginger. Seeing his face just reminded me of all those years I spent loving him and planning my future with him all for nothing. Derek and Kj are talking and Derek asks Kj who the man standing with him is. Kj says that Cole and Derek didn't react because I didn't tell him Cole's name. I whisper in Dereks ear. L- Derek Cole is my ex. Derek looks at me with shock and turns to look at Cole. His face went from a smile to anger mixed with sadness. I could feel his body start to tense up and his hand goes into a fist. I hold his hand so he calms down a little. Then Derek says D- nice to meet you Cole im Derek Shepard Lili's fiancee. I turned to look at Cole and his face drops, did Kj not tell him i had a finance oh no did he not tell him that i have a daughter. Derek just stood there for a few seconds looking at Cole. A smile grows on Derek's face and he walks away from the group. L- What was that all about? D- oh nothing I just was happy that you're with me now. L- well I'm happy too and I love our family. I can't wait to marry you. I give Derek a quick peck on the lips. D- I can't wait till you're a shepherd. He smiled at me. D- im going to go get some drinks. Derek walks away from me and I see Juliet playing with Charles. I turn around to see where Derek is and he's talking with Casey and I also see Cole walking up to me. C- hey um Lili do you have a minute to speak? L- I guess um follow me. I brought him into the guess bedroom so we had a little more privacy. L- what do you want C- I just wanted to say that i'm sorry for the way i acted during our time together i was being a jerk. L- its fine i just want to know why you ignored me for all that time. C- well it's because i cheated on you. L- WHAT! C- it's not what you think, remember that night when we were going to meet up at a bar? L- yeah? C- Well i got really drunk then some girl put me in a car and i honestly don't remember what happened but when i woke up in the morning i only had my underwear on and same with the girl next to me, she said that she only kissed me but to be honest i think she did more. L- I - i - I can't believe you did that to me, i loved you with all my heart and you got drunk and cheated on me with a random girl! C- I know and i'm sorry. L- and all these years you could have told me but you didn't I can't believe you! I was about to walk out of the room when I turned around and hit his chest multiple times. C- Ok im sorry and i did deserve that but please forgive me. L- not right now. I walked out of the room then I saw Juliet run towards me. J- MOMMY! L- juliet my baby how are you? J- good L- are you having fun? J- YES! We're about to have cake so come on. L- ok lets go! Juliet looks at Cole J- mommy who is that? L- oh he's a friend of uncle Kj's J- oh ok Hi im Juliet! C- hey Juliet my name is Cole. J- hi cole do you want cake? C- sure. J- ok lets go!! Juliet runs off C- is that your daughter? L- yes it is C- oh um how old is she? L- she's three today's her birthday. C- oh cool so this is her party? L- yeah. I could see Cole looking a little confused L- are you ok C- um this might seem random but is she mine?
