: Midoriya pov: Hurray! Today is New Years Eve! I can't wait for the start of 2021! At 10am everyone woke up and met in the common room, we all planned what was going on today:
1. Go get mochi, soba, cider, etc from store
2. Get decorations
3. Decorate house
4. At 5pm start cooking food
5. Eat dinner
6. Play games until 2 minutes before New year countdown is over
7. Celebrate new year
8. Stay up until sunrise and make wish
9. Next morning go to shrine
Half of the class went to get food while the other went to get decorations, I was with the half that went to get the decorations. We went to the 100 yen store and found a bunch of stuff!
We got banners, party poppers, sparklers, confetti, etc it was very cool! After this we went back to the dorms.
When we got home we starting decorating right away, soon after the food people got home. They set the food in the fridge and starting helping us decorating.
After we finished we went and got into our New Years Eve outfits, then we just hung out in the common room until 5 when Kacchan, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, and Jiro starting cooking.
Apparently they were the best cooks, I know Kacchan is and I hope the rest are too. The rest of us just continued to look at memes until dinner was done.
At 6pm dinner was finished, we all sat on the table and started eating, the dinner was REALLY good. It took awhile to eat because no one wanted to leave left overs.
For dinner we had soba, mini hot dogs in buns, salad, rice, and meat. For drinks we drank Mitsuya Cider, Cola, Barley Tea, and water. (I will show what those are at the end)
After dinner we made mochi and played games, we played Uno, Phase Ten, Old Maid, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Monopoly, and Apples to Apples. Then it was 2 minutes until 2021, we stopped playing games and set everything up.
We got the party poppers, sparkling cider, confetti, and countdown ready. Then we all yelled:

We all cheered and popped the poppers and drank our cider. Afterwards we continued to play games and party until the sunrise
~Time Skip to sunrise~
: Midoriya pov: A few minutes before sunrise we all went up to the roof so we could watch the sunrise, watching the sunrise was always my favorite part! When the sun came up everyone stood up and made their wishes.
After that we stayed up on the roof for awhile longer until we decided to go back inside and sleep until 12pm, when we go to the Shrine.
At 12pm we were all ready so we started waking to the shrine, the shrine was only a 20 minute walk away. When we got to the shrine there was a HUGE line, there were also booths all lined up with games, food, and mini stores!
It was so cool! We all got in line for the shrine and while we were in line we would play games from the booths. Kaminari won a water gun, Yaoyorozu won a small teddy bear, and Sero bought some food.
Once we got to the shrine we went to the area that we wash our hands, then we got in line to get good luck charms for the year!
The line was also pretty long, but it was worth it. I chose a charm for good health, most of the class chose a charm for good studies, some chose for safe travels, and others chose for just a good year.
After we all got our charms we went to the place were you write what you hope for this year. I put down "I hope for good grades, healthy friends and family, and to grow bigger soon!"
It took a few minutes but everyone finally wrote their wishes down, lastly we went to my favorite part..........the future fortunes!!
It was very busy because the shrine are only open January 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. We finally made it to the future fortunes and I got mine. I opened it and it said "You will have good luck this year. Something unexpected might happen this year but good luck with come your way."
After that I told everyone and then tied it to the string where all the other ones were. We left the shrine and went to more booths and bought some mochi, after that we decided to go back home.
When we got home people hung out in the common room or their rooms, we were lazy for the rest of the day.
We decided to have a sleepover in the common room again, but not stay up because we have school tomorrow.
We all fell asleep quickly because of how tired we were from staying up all night, then going to the shrine.
