Her best friend snapped as he sighed helplessly. Seri snapped out of her thoughts and flashed him an apologetic smile.

" Sorry " She murmured and picked up the books on the floor and started placing them back on the shelves.

Stubbornly avoiding her best friends stare.

Hyunjin chuckled and ruffled her hair , " Cheer up Ires " he said her nickname and grinned.

The girl rolled her eyes , playfully Indicating she was annoyed.

Seri spelt backwards was Ires thus giving her the nickname.

Hyunjin was nijnuyh..which didn't really sound that cool so they decided to not use that word..

Hyunjin passed her the last book before commenting .

" You ever wonder where your soulmate would be ?" .

The girl paused before correcting him " You mean soulmates ?" She had a smug face as she taunted the other boy.

" You get me !" He complained.

Seri had six small stars on her wrist which were her soulmate marks. The Stars were small and it was an outline of the star and it looked so delicate, and not to mention, cute !

Once she comes in close physical contact with her soulmate, the star would be coloured fully.

She was so ecstatic when she found about Soulmates and spent hours just staring at the mark . [ mark me in your heart ]

The two best friends walked out of the library laughing . Both of them were always considered to be dating seeing how close they were but no.

Knowing each other since childhood, they practically saw each other as a brother or as a sister.

" You going to the Cafe today ? " Hyunjin Asked as he pulled out his phone.

The girl sighed and said " well my classes are over so see you later " waving the brunette walked out of the building.

The walk to the cafe took about 10 minutes.

" Hey Yuri , Hyunjin asked me to pass you this " sliding a book across the counter , she walked to a corner seat.

" Oh my god , I'm so sorry " a voice said as she felt two firm hands on her wrist helping her up.

Her eyes widened, not because of the physical contact but the feeling of Euphoria that swept through her blood.
