I sat on the plane watching the ground get closer. Tomorrow we were surprising my dad with Brooklyn while they film their recap episode. I was excited to see my dad. He didn’t come and see me give birth, because he has no idea I was pregnant. The whole plane stood up except Drew and I. 1. We knew better than to stand. 2. I had a baby in the seat next to me. We had bought 3 seats so Brook could have her carseat. When we got off, Drew got our luggage while I updated my vlog. “Hey guys, we just landed in Las Vegas. I’m waiting for Drew near the tram thing. Out in the parking lot Aaron and Steph are waiting for us.” I said into the camera. Drew walked over to me and Brook with our luggage. He noticed I was filming. He took it from me. “Now that I have our luggage, we are going to get on the tram to meet up with my Mom and Dad.” He said. I laughed at him and took my camera back. I turned it off. We got on the tram. We rode the tram to the parking lot. When we got off we were greeted by Andrew's parents. Drew hugged his mom then his dad. Steph was right next to me in moments. "How is my granddaughter?" She asked looking into the car seat that was hooked to the stroller. Brooklyn was awake and looking around. "She doing fine." I said. "How are you, Megan?" Aaron asked. "Way better then when I had her." I said. Aaron smiled and nodded taking one of our bags. The thing is we’re thinking about moving back to Vegas, because thats is where ours families are. Well we aren’t moving back to Vegas more like Goldfield,NV. We may have put a down payment on my grandparents home. Where my Mom grew up. I got an Email from my Aunt telling me the house was for sale. I told her at my Grandfathers funeral that I wanted the house. We got into Aaron’s SUV and went to Drew’s parent’s house. We got out of the SUV and was greeted by my 16 year old brothers. “How are my little brothers?” I asked giving them hugs. “Megan, We have been fine. Just excited to see Brooklyn.” Marcuse said. “Well, Drew took her inside.” I said grabbing the diaper bag. “Boys, will you help Andrew unload the SUV?” I asked walking into the house. I walked into Aaron and Steph’s house and was welcomed with a screaming infant. I smiled and shook my head. I made my way into the living room where she was sitting in her car seat. “Oh Baby, What's wrong?” I asked picking her up. I knew what was wrong, but I needed to know where we were staying, so I could nurse in peace. I placed her paci in her mouth and waited for Drew to come in. He walked in and sat on the couch. I leaned over and whispered in his ear. “Your daughter is hungry, but I’m not doing it right here.”. He nodded and stood up. “Dad, Where are we sleeping?” He asked. “Your old room.” Aaron said with a smile. I hurried up the stair to the room I was too familiar with. So many memories happened in that room. I had to laugh. Andrew first asked me out in his room, while we worked on a school project together. I sat on the bed and lifted off my top shirt and pulled my undershirt down to feed my child. Yes, I chose to breastfeed my child. It is much healthier than formula. Plus my mom breastfed all four of us kids. (I have three brothers. 2; 16 years olds and a 6 year old.) Andrew walked in with our stuff. “I guess she was hungry.” Drew said. I looked at him and nodded. Just then Aaron walked into the bedroom. I quickly grabbed my cover. “Dad, you should have knocked.” Drew said. “Oops sorry, Megan. I forgot about you nursing Brook.” Aaron said. “It’s fine. I should have had the cover on.” I said. “You don’t have too. I promise I won’t look.” Aaron said with a laugh.

(Later that night.)

We sat around the kitchen table eating when Brooke started to cry. I groaned and stood up. “Don’t worry about it, babe. I got this, so sit down.” Drew said standing up. “It’s only diaper. I can do, Sweet heart.” I said. “Megan, I got this. I want some with her.” Drew said pushing me down into my seat. I sighed and smiled. Nothing says I love you more than insisting in taking care of our daughter after I have all day. “So Megan, How is the midwifing going?” Steph asked. “Good. I should be going back to work in a couple months.” I said with a smile. “Has Drew decided what hes going to do?” Aaron asked. I smiled to myself. That was another big announcement. “Umm… He wants to pursue his music.” I said. They nodded. Drew walked back in with our daughter. “She wanted to say hi.” He said with a smile. I took her from him. “Hey, baby.” I said kissing her head. “She saved a really bad one for me.” Drew said with a smile. We laughed. “Andrew, stop talking about your daughters poop.” Steph said with a laugh. I shouldered Drew. “Yeah.” I said. I swear Drew and I still acted like teenagers sometimes. We finished dinner and I helped Steph do the dishes as the boys talked in the living room. “So, Aaron will be leaving early tomorrow and we’ll go a few hours later. Since you want to surprise your Dad toward the end.” She said. I smiled and nodded. “Sounds good to me.” I said.

We sat around the living room watching the latest episode of Ghost Adventures. I loved watching where the show went. From a little documentary to a large show with a huge fan base. I sat there laying on my husband. I had the baby monitor on the couch next to me. I started hearing Brooklyn getting fussy. I sighed and got up and walked up the stairs. I quickly fed her. After putting her back in the bassinet, I felt exhausted. I walked back down stairs. I leaned over drew’s shoulder. “I’m going to bed.” I whispered into his ear. “Alright, Babe. Good night.” He said kissing my cheek. “Night everyone.” I said walking back up the stairs. I laid in the bed closer to the baby.

I stood at the end of the bed putting Brook in a cute outfit. She was the last one to get dressed since she was the easiest. Drew walked in. “Ready to go? Dad said they only have half hour left of filming.” He said. I picked up the baby. “What do you think, Daddy?” I asked was with a smile. “You both look beautiful.” He said kiss the baby’s head then my lips. “I was talking about her, but thank you.” I said kissing him again. I placed her in her carseat. Drew took it as I grabbed the the diaper bag. We got into Steph’s car and drove to my parent’s house. The guys were filming in Dad’s dungan. We pulled in and were greeted by my Mom and a cameraman. “Travel wanted to film this.” She said. I nodded. We carried the baby inside. I took her out of the car seat. Mom led the way down stairs. The door to the dungan was behind the guys. We snuck in. As they did their outro I stood behind Dad. Drew stood behind Aaron. “One more thing.” Aaron said. “What now, Aaron?” Dad said. I made my way in front of them. “Meet your granddaughter.” I said handing Brooklyn to him. Dad looked at the baby in his arms. I turned to the camera and waved. “Bye, Everyone.” I said.

We sat around the kitchen table. Dad had Brook enjoying his grandchild. Drew tapped my shoulder. I looked at him. “Tell everyone.” He whispered. “Oh, We have some other surprises.” I said. Everyone looked at me. “We bought Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and we are moving there.” I said. “and I got a contract with a record label.” Drew said. Everyone started cheering. We hugged everyone. The last person I hugged was Dad. “You never told me when she was born.” He said in my ear. “You two share a birthday.” I said with a smile. He sat back and smiled. He was was one proud Grandpa.
