Harry x reader CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE pt.1

In this story y/n's parents are dead so they are spending Christmas at Hogwarts. They are also female and Gryffindor.

It was the first day of winter break, and everyone including your best friend neville was leaving the castle for the holidays. It was just you and a few other students left. You could tell that this Christmas was going to be very boring, but you thought you could just read ahead for class and study for tests so that you had something to do.

Christmas Eve

You were sitting in the library reading about bogarts for the Defense Against the Dark Arts quiz after break. When you were interrupted by someone walking in and talking to themselves.

"Stupid me! I should have realized it was a siren." Harry Potter said to himself. You got very flustered because Harry had been your crush for these last four years at Hogwarts. He saw you look up at him with your flustered pink cheeks and he sat down next to you.

"Hey whats up y/n?" he asked you.

"Oh um- nothing much just studying." you replied.

"Why would you want to do that? Its the holidays for crying out loud! Just relax." he laughs.

"Well then what have you been doing to keep yourself busy?"

"You know, just the usual, playing chess by myself, roaming around, finding secret passageways."

"Woah! There are secret passageways in the castle? Can you show me one?" you reply, praying he will say yes.

Harry blushed a little bit and said, "yeah of course y/k"

"How about I finish studying and we meet up in the common room at 4:00?"

"yeah- umm for sure" he smiled back at you.

4:00 in the common room

"hey y/n!" Harry smirked

"hey"

"you ready?" he asks you, "this one takes a little while"

You nod ready for the adventure! He leads you to a statue of a one eyed witch.

"dissendium" he whispers and the witch's hump opens to reveal a tunnel.
