Hermione x reader

Hermione sat in the corner of the common room reading her DADA textbook when they came in, as she had just raced back to the common room to study.

"Yes!" y/n shouted as they burst through the door.

"We beat their ass's so bad!" yelled Fred.

"Yeah Slytherin will never get past that defeat!" Ron cheered.

Hermione and y/n both giggled and looked at each other in awkward silence. There had always been some chemistry between them, but y/n didn't want to ruin their friendship and they didn't know what Hermione's sexuality was. 

The silence was broken by people rushing into the room with so much pep! They were celebrating there victory against Slytherin in the final quiditch match. Y/n and Hermione joined int he big crowd separately which made y/n a bit sad.

The party went on for around another hour before Dean requested that they play spin the bottle.

"Oy! You just wanna play so can kiss girls!" shouted y/n, laughing drunkly. 

"Maybe, maybe not. Anyways who's in?"

Everybody shrugged as to say 'sure'. So they began playing. 

Dean went first and got Parvati, next was Harry who got ginny. (Ginny probably jinxed the bottle to turn to her) Next was Ron who got Lavender, everyone knew they had liked each other for a long time. So absolutely everyone shouted. Next it was y/n's turn. They spun the bottle, their heart beating out of their chest. It came to an abrupt, and almost unnaturally fast stop on Seamus who had the widest grin on his face. 

"Hey someone jinxed that!" Hermione shouted.

"Yeah seriously that was definitely jinxed" y/n said.

"Doesn't matter Granger, it landed on me, so I guess me and y/n have to kiss." He said as he started crawling towards y/n.

"But-" Hermione said.

"Hermione its fine, I don't care its just a game." y/n said, they got on their knees and scooted towards where Seamus was and went in for a quick peck not he lips. Seamus grabbed y/n's hips and pulled deeper into the kiss. Y/n opened their eyes in surprise and pulled away and went to sit back down.

"You guys are so perverted! Yeah you Seamus. Im done." Hermione said as she stood up and walked away from the group.

"I bet she has a crush on you Seamus! Otherwise why would she act like that?" Laughed Dean. 

"I think I better go check on her." said y/n.

Dean made a sad face, but y/n didn't care. They stood up and went down the winding staircase they had just seen Hermione climb down. When they reached the bottom, they saw Hermione sitting on the last step and crying. And somehow there were birds flying around above her. 

Y/n went to sit next to her.

"Im sorry, are you okay?"

"Yeah I just-just.." then she started crying again. Y/n sat on the step next to her. and patted her not he back. They heard footsteps coming from the stairs. Seamus showed up at the bottom of them and he smiled at y/n.

"Hey y/n, I was just coming down to maybe see if you wanted to go up to my dormitory and recreate that amazing kiss?" Seamus said confidently.

"What makes you think she wants to that with you?!" Hermione stood up and burst out.

"Okay, Granger, why are you so mad? Do you like me or something?" Seamus said defensively. Y/n could see the rage building on Hermione's face. Hermione pulled out her wand and before Seamus could do or say anything, she murmured "Oppugno." 

The birds that had been flying peacefully above Hermione's just seconds ago immediately flew straight at Seamus. He screamed and started running back up the stairs as the birds chased him.

Hermione collapsed back onto the stairs and y/n put their arm around her.

"Thank you, like seriously, he's such a git." y/n said

"I completely agree" Hermione laughed.

"Hey why are you standing up for me"

"well," Hermione hesitated, "I think its quite obvious." Hermione blushed

"Are you? I didn't know that" y/n said with a slight grin.

"I don't really know what I am yet, Im getting all these knew feelings, and its scary sometimes. you promise you won't tell anyone?"

"Of course I won't Hermione!, Im the same, its so confusing right now."

"Hey- so umm I don't know if you knew but like um,..... Ive liked you for a while."

"What? No way?" y/n said sarcastically. After the events that had occurred, y/n was almost positive they knew how Hermione felt. 

They both laughed.

"Do you- do you think maybe, we could go to the three broo-"

Y/n put a finger over Hermione's mouth. "I feel the same way" y/n blushed.

"Merlin's beard. Really? Then, well do you think maybe I could kiss you?"

Y/n nodded excitedly.

They both leaned in and their lips met, thats when they both knew, this was just the beginning of an amazing adventure.
