7 | lights out

Donghyuck sighed as he laid on the couch he looking up at Mark who was drying the younger's hair with a towel he had found in the beach house. Donghyuck didn't understand why Mark was suddenly acting so caring to him after being so cold to him. "Looks like this storm is not ending any time soon..." he said, trying to make a conversation so there wouldn't be an awkward silence. Mark nodded "Yeah, I think we have to stay here tonight" he got done drying Donghyuck's hair and started drying his own. Donghyuck sighed "Well it'll hopefully end tomorrow.." he mumbled and flinched as he heard a thunder meanwhile Mark gave no reaction. "I'm sure it'll end by tomorrow anyway i'll open the lights, its getting dark" he said as he got up, he found the light switch and pressed on it but nothing happened. Donghyuck looked at the cold boy with a confused look on his face "What's wrong?" he asked and got up, walking next to Mark. He tried opening the lights but again, nothing happened "I think the electricity got cut.."

Jaemin came back from the kitchen wit a candle in his hands "See? This day COULD get worse!" Jisung said, groaning. Jeno pulled his boyfriend closer as he sighed "Guys i'm actually worried about Mark and Hyuck..." Renjun nodded as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend "I know babe...we all are..." Jaemin watched the candle burn, finding it relaxing "I'm sure they're safe guys...Mark is literally the only smartest person here, he'll find a way to keep Donghyuck and himself safe" Chenle shrugged "I don't know about that, i mean Mark hyung looks like he pretty much hates everyone" Jaemin quickly turned his head to Chenle "No he just cant fe-" before Jaemin could say anything else Jisung cut him off...thankfully. "He's just bad at expressing his feelings okay? Please dont speak about this situation to him" The others nodded in understanding, seeing the sad look on Jisung's face they understood the two boys didn't want to talk about this topic. Chenle hugged Jisung, in an attempt to make the boy feel better. Jeno's head quickly turned to the door when the boys heard banging on the door "It must be Hyuck and Mark!" he said excitedly as he ran to the door, just to see an orange haired boy, breathing heavily. Jeno widened his eyes and quickly let the boy in, "Hey dude are you okay?" the boy shook his head "N-no i got caught in the storm and i-i fell.." he was able to say that. Chenle's eyes widened as he saw the boy "Yangyang!?" 

Even though he didnt really admit to it, Donghyuck was really afraid of storms, especially thunders. He kept flinching when he head them and he would usually hug his teddy bear but it wasn't with him

Mark looked over at Donghyuck once again as the boy flinched, he finally decided to ask what was happening "Donghyuck are you okay?" the younger boy looked at the older with his teary eyes as he shook his head "N-no.." Mark stared at the boy,not knowing why the boy was acting like this. He had no idea why he was crying but...he remembered something Jaemin did to Jisung when the boy was crying "Uh..want a hug?" Donghyuck quickly nodded and opened his arms. Mark got up from his seat, going over to sit on the couch Donghyuck was sitting. He hugged the boy tightly, copying Jaemin's actions as he remembered "Everything will be okay.." he said as he patted the boy's back. Dongyuck nodded, crying softly in Mark's arms.

Jisung's blood was boiling at the sight of his boyfriend hugging the german guy. He didn't like Yangyang at all after the fight they had with Chenle, he could sense that Yangyang had a thing for his boy, but since Chenle had already said they were just friends and Jisung didn't want to act like an overprotective boyfriend.

Yangyang smiled as he hugged his friend "So how long have you guys been here?" he asked. "Just arrived here yesterday" Jisung answered, not taking his eyes off of Chenle. Yangyang raised an eyebrow "Oh? well i've been here for a week, i bet you guys are gonna love it here!" 'What the fuck is this guy staring at' he thought in his head. Jaemin nodded and yawned "Yeah we hope so but its kinda going bad right now..." Yangyang sighed "There a lot of beach houses close to the beach, I'm sure Mark and Donghyuck are in one of them"

Donghyuck yawned, laying his head on the emotionless boy's shoulder, he looked up examining Mark's expressionless face. His heart was beating faster when he talked to the boy, he would get butterflies in his stomach just by one look from Mark and he knew exactly what was happening...he was catching feelings for the boy. 

"Want to sleep? It's getting pretty late" Mark said as he turned his head to look at the younger boy. Donghyuck nodded and grabbed Mark's hand "B-but together please..." Mark looked at the boy and nodded "Okay ,let me carry you though your leg might hurt still" Mark said before picking the boy up and carrying him to the bedroom. Donghyuck's face was dark red as he was put on the bed, Mark laying down next to him shortly after. Donghyuck quickly wrapped his arms around Mark, whispering a 'Goodnight' before closing his eyes.
