Y/n POV ~

I was walking through the halls like usual with my some of h/c hair in my face to hide my blue eye , hearing the murmurs while I walk by and the chucking, I've grown used to the constant bullying and rumors spreading about me. Like how I sleep with men which explains the marks on my neck, face ,arms and legs or how I have some disease  but the truth is I live in a violent home, my father abuses me and my mom daily. I've wanted to tell the police for so long but my mom always stopped me, she kept saying he will change some say but it's been 8 years! When I get partnered up with someone they ither choose to fail instead of working with me or demand a new partner so I end up working alone and I always sit in the back alone beacuse others refuse to get near me, I'm always alone.

As I walked into class students went from loud and cheerful to silent whispers. I just sat in my usual desk just induring another day in my life, the teacher walked in and said that we would work in groups of two and the topic was about getting to know your partner better . Everyone looked excited until the teacher said "I'll be the one choosing the pairs and I'll post your Pairs." everyone's excitement turned into dispair within seconds, "I hope I don't get paired with y/n I'd rather fail." I heard someone in front of me whisper, I bit my lip and just ignored them but I still hear the whispers in my head and they won't stop. "Rintaro Suna and F/n L/n!" I heard the teacher say but I didn't think much of it because the person would probably just demand a new partner after the teacher announced the pairs he let us have the rest if the period to discuss the project. I was tapping my pen on my desk until I saw a male with dark hair and black halve lidded  eyes walked up to me and sat by the empty desk next to me, "Hey I'm  Rintaro Suna but you can call me Suna I'll be your partner for the project." he said while extending his hand to me,  took his and  shook it "I'm f/n l/n you can just call me f/n I don't mind." I said softly. "Hey Suna you sure you don't want a new partner?" I heard the girls infront of us say "No and why would I?" he said while taking out a note book and pen , "Oh so you don't know about the little slut here?" the girl says with a smirk on her face.

Suna POV ~
I saw y/n look down when the girl said that "I have but I don't care, thier just rumors and you should just mind your own business." I said in a normal tone. The girl huffed and just went back to her partner, "Well let's get started." I said "mm" she said and she took out a note book and pen and we began discussing the project.

Y/n POV~
We were talking normally learning small things about each other with a couple of jokes, it was the first time in a while I felt so happy. "Y/n, I'll be at volleyball practice so if you don't mind waiting for me so we can talk more." he said sounding a little unsure, "U-uh sure that sounds nice." After school I was on my way to the gym but I was unsure about the whole thing, what if it's some prank no y/n suna looks like a nice guy he won't do that! I reassured myself. I gulped and walked into the gym and saw the volleyball boys doing some exercises, I walked to the seats and just watched them "what's y/n doing here?" I heard one of the girls there say "yeah, I don't want her infecting Miya San with her disease." I heard another add. I just ignored them like usual but I liked seeing suna spike the ball, it looked really fun. After their practice I went to see Suna, I walked up to him when he was talking to two twin identical boys, I knew they were the Miya twins I mean they are quite popular I'm sure one of them is in our class. "Oh hey y/n I hope you weren't to bored." he said, I shook my head "No it's ok it was nice watching you guys play." "Hey y/n" the twins said at the same time, "Wait you know my name?" I said sounding kinda shocked "Well yeah I mean all the rumors about you are everywhere." Osamu said teasingly "Oh the rumors.." I said looking down "Oh no no it doesn't mean we believe them." Osamu said "It's fine, Suna I'm gonna should go I'll talk to you tomorrow." I was about to walk away when suna took my hand "Wait don't listen to these morons, just let me get changed real quick." he said, I felt my face get a little warm but shrugged it off "Ok" I said, they went to their locker room and after a short while Suna came out and we started walking. "We can go to the park if you want to." I said fiddling with my fingers "Yeah that sounds nice." he said. We got to the park we sat on the bench and just kept talking.
