It was another gloomy Saturday in the Slytherin Common Room. [Y/N] didn't expect anything interesting to happen today, as the next Hogsmeade weekend wasn't for another two weeks and she had no plans. Boy was she wrong. Her best friends, Norma, Stella, Carrie, and Juno, bounded down the stairs and informed her they did in fact have plans for this weekend. She had no idea what kind of plans her friends had in mind, but it she hasn't much of an option. Her friends would make her go along regardless.

Regulus did have plans, those being his Quidditch Match against Gryffindor that morning. He adored Quidditch Matches because he could show off to his brother, who did not play Quidditch. James Potter, Sirius' best friend, did, however, meaning that he would have to be exceptionally great to attract his brother's attention. He would never admit it to himself, but he secretly craved his older brother's attention. And why wouldn't he? Ever since Sirius was disowned Regulus' life had awful. He had to work twice as hard to keep his mother and father content. Worst of all that Potter stole his brother, his safe haven.

Stella, unfortunately thought it was important to be supportive towards their house, Slytherin, which; therefore, included going to Quidditch matches. Especially if they were going up against their greatest enemies and rivals, Gryffindor. She, along with Juno and Norma, was sociable and genuinely enjoyed human interaction unlike their best friend, [Y/N].

It wasn't like [Y/N] didn't enjoy interacting with people outside her group, she did. She simply didn't like the people her friends would associate themselves with. To be more specific, she referred to Black and his entourage. He was insufferable to her and to make matters worse for her, her parents had already arranged for her to marry him straight out of Hogwarts which she would not have at all.

The way her friends saw it, she might as well start getting used to it because there was absolutely no way to negotiate with her parents about the marriage. They didn't understand why she did not like Regulus because he did have his faults, but he was still a very handsome and charismatic boy. They also wouldn't admit it but they also thought that his friends were also very attractive, so it was a bonus to them. They could flirt while their best friend tried to get along with her fiancée.

They were a particularly odd bunch because they had nothing in common besides their house and status, yet this did not stop the group from being the best of friends. They had in fact also promised to each other that they would each play an important part in each of their weddings to make it a lot more tolerable. The group had not stopped there, they also made a vow to stick together for the rest of their lives no matter the consequence. They were completely inseparable.

Regulus was very shy, but as soon as he became comfortable with those around him, he was lively, funny, and very annoying. With others he was arrogant, cold, and overly confident. Now if you were one of those unfortunate stuck in the middle of both, you could just expect to be annoyed. He was brilliant and talented and anyone could agree without a doubt. There was actually just one person for whom he acted "both" ways to and that was to [Y/N]. Something about her was annoying to him, it made his blood boil.

At first she saw it as harmless teasing, but as time went on she realized he really was just the worst to her, and it was no longer tolerable. To this day, 4 years later, he was still the same. He did not "grow" out of it, in fact the teasing increased in amount and gravity.

Back to the point, Juno and Norma were currently trying to pry [Y/n] off the couch and out the door to the Great Hall. Meanwhile, Stella was already halfway there, too excited to wait any longer. She loved quidditch matches because it brought all of her friends together.

Regulus had been at the Great Hall for a good 15 minutes. It was mostly empty, consisting of the Slytherin team and some morning students and teachers. He noticed Stella entering the Hall without her. That he found surprising, they rarely ever left each other's side.

After lots of debating and lots of struggling Juno, Normal, and [Y/N] found themselves in the Great Hall. By now it was nearly full with everyone bustling around in excitement for the quidditch match.

"Oh, look who's finally made it!" Stella said.

"Very funny, Stells."

"It only took us about 20 minutes to get her off the couch!" Juno groaned. Norma sighed in agreement. "So," Norma said, "are you excited to see your lover play?" She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.

"Can it, Norma," [Y/N] started with a groan, "we all know you've got the hots for Hunter."

"She got you there, Norm" said Carrie.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Miss [L/N]. Will you come to support me, love?" asked Regulus in his, might [Y/N] add, grating voice.

"Of course not you doofus. If I go it's for them, not you." She said while rolling her eyes.

"Right, see you around [L/N]." He said with a wink.

"Oh, come on [Y/N/N], you have to go support him. He is after all your fiancée." Juno stated, matter-of-factory.

"He might be my betrothed, but I hold absolutely," she strongly emphasized, "no care for him."

after breakfast.

[Y/N] and her friends were making their ways down to the quidditch pitch along with hundreds of other students to watch the long awaited match. Stella had left a couple minutes earlier to hold them a great spot, which she had.

Nothing eventful occurred except the outcome. Slytherin had their first win against Gryffindor in a while, and it was safe to say there would be a celebration in their common room after dinner. It was however chilly, and [Y/N] was starting to shiver. She was currently at in the pitch with her friends who had dragged her from her spot the second Regulus had captured the Snitch.

In a quick blur she somehow found herself in the arms of her sworn enemy, Regulus. In the midst of the excitement he'd swept her right off her feet and into his arms. To make matters worse, Juno had brought her camera, and she made sure to capture the moment between the two.

Safe to say [Y/N] wouldn't be attending another match unless mandatory.
