"All right y/n do you have the list" said mom as you emerged into the bustling street of Diagon Ally.
"Yes,right here" you said as you showed her the list.
"Ok so what do you want to get first" mom said as you continued to walk.
" can we get a pet first please" you said dragging out the e at the end. " since I am going to a new school I need at least one guaranteed friend" you added.
"Fine" your mom gave in. You have been asking for a cat forever but you could never get one cause your dad said there was never good reason. But I mean isn't a birthday a good reason?
You and your mom walked toward a shop called The Magical Menagerie. As you entered the store you saw owls and toads,but one small black kitty that was in the corner in the back of the store caught your eye. You held the kitty like a baby and brought to a counter in the middle of the store and bought her. *~• You had just finished shopping and was walking back to the leaky cauldron Luna in hand (your cat) while mom held the rest of the items "hey y/n I can't hold this my self,take some of it" mom said trying to hand things to you
"But mom,Luna" you said motioning to the black tinny ball of fluff snuggled in your arms. She gave you the "listen to me I'm your mother" look. And you just gave in and shifted Luna in your arms.
