Twenty-Three | The Declaration Of A Prince

"Hey! Wake up! Oh, good you're awake," Katsuki stared at the girl that leaned over him. "You look pretty beaten up, did a fight happen here? The whole area is on fire." It didn't take long for Katsuki to recognize the girl, she was the girl that called Izuku, Deku. He didn't remember her name though and didn't bother to listen to what her and Izuku's conversations were about.

"You're... that girl," Katsuki said in his barely audible voice.

"That's right, I'm Ochako Uraraka. Can you move?" Uraraka asked as she squatted down ready to help Katsuki up.

"Yeah, I don't need your help," Katsuki said as he slowly sat up. But when he tried to stand the pain in his ribs stopped him, "Nevermind."

"Okay, let's get you to a doctor," Uraraka said as she instantly helped him stand up.

"NO!" Katsuki yelled but quickly started to cough since his lungs couldn't handle the yelling.

"But you need a doctor," Uraraka said as she brought him over to her horse and carriage she came on.

"No, just take me to the house you found Izuku at a few days ago," Katsuki said which made Uraraka confused. She then remembered the house and sighed.

"Fine, can you get medical attention there though?" she asked as she helped Katsuki get into the carriage. She knew she could help heal him with her magic but Uraraka didn't like to use her magic unless it was completely necessary.

"Probably," Katsuki said as he laid down. Uraraka just sighed and assisted the horse as it turned around, she then set off to Sero's house. "I'm going to have a nap," Katsuki said as he got comfortable and closed his eyes.

"KAT! GOD DAMN IT, WAKE UP!" Katsuki's eyes quickly opened upon hearing Sero's yell in his ear. "How the hell did this happen to you?" Sero quickly helped Katsuki sit up.

"Long story," Katsuki said as Sero once again helped the blonde but this time out of the carriage and into the house. Kaminari quickly came over with a medkit, "Where's that round face girl?" Katsuki asked while he laid on the couch.

"She's talking with Mina," Kaminari said as he placed the medkit on the coffee table. Sero quickly got to work on bandaging Katsuki's exposed wounds as Kaminari just watched nervously. "He's not going to die right?" Kaminari asked as he was almost shaking from his nerves.

"Of course not!" Sero shouted as Uraraka and Mina quickly walked in.

"Uraraka just told me she can help Katsuki heal faster!" Mina shouted and Uraraka just nodded. Kaminari's eyes almost looked like stars as Sero just finished what he was doing.

"What can you do?" Kaminari asked Uraraka who just kneeled beside Katsuki.

"I'm a witch so I can use magic to heal him, but I can't fully heal him. I can just tell by looking at him that his ribs are broken and I can't heal broken bones. I can make him feel like he's one-hundred percent but his ribs will still be broken," Uraraka said as Sero stepped away to allow Uraraka to do what she needed to do.

"Just do it," Katsuki said still unable to speak loudly.

Uraraka's hands faintly glowed a light pink, she hovered her hands over Katsuki. Everyone went silent and waited, it wasn't long before Uraraka finished. "There, I'm done. Just don't overdo it, your ribs are still broken," Uraraka said as she stood up. She already had an idea of what happened in the mountains, she knew if she healed Katsuki he'll go help her new friend.

"Thank you, Uraraka," Mina said as she gave the brunet a quick hug. Katsuki nodded as a thank you since he didn't want to say it.

"No problem, mind if I stick around for a bit? I need to give my horse a break, we've been travelling non-stop for almost two days," Uraraka asked as Mina looked at Sero.

"Yep, make yourself at home," Sero said as Uraraka was pulled by Mina to sit down. Mina started to chat with Uraraka like there was no tomorrow, Uraraka happily listened. "I don't remember the last time she spoke to a girl," Sero calmly said to Katsuki who sat up and gave the ravenette somewhere to sit.

But Mina soon stopped speaking, it was as if she flicked a switch in her mind and looked at Katsuki. "Hey, where's Eiji?" Mina asked in an innocent voice. Katsuki's head instantly looked at the ground, Sero quickly noticed the change in mood that the blonde was showing.

"Kat, what happened?" Sero asked as he gently rubbed the blonde's back.

"He's gone... and so is Izu," Katsuki said in a quiet voice but they all heard him.

"What do you mean?" Kaminari asked as he sat next to Sero and took the ravenette's hand in his.

"Princess Momo took Kirishima and Prince Shoto got Izuku," Katsuki said without looking at the others around him. He didn't have the bravery to look any of them in the eye, he felt pathetic.

"Why did you just let her take Eiji!" Mina suddenly shouted, guilt was all Katsuki could feel.

"They were a step ahead and I wasn't strong enough," Katsuki thought for a moment. "Dabi, a rebel that was under prince Shoto's control attacked me with black magic that used blue flames. He was way stronger than me, I stood no chance against him. And during that time princess Momo took Kirishima and prince Shoto took Izuku, then I was knocked out and soon after round face girl found me."

Mina fell silent after that, no one spoke until Sero did. "What are you going to do next, Kat?" Sero asked a bit hesitant at first. 

"I'm getting them both back, I just don't know who to go for first," Katsuki said as Sero nodded. "But Dunce face, mind if I borrow Mina for this?"

Kaminari thought for a minute, but Mina had other plans. "As long as you go for Eiji first," Mina blurted out.

"Mina! That's selfish," Kaminari shouted as Mina stood with her arms crossed.

"I don't care! If Eiji is involved then I'm going to be selfish," Mina said as she stared daggers at Katsuki.

"I was considering going to the shitty dragon first," Katsuki said as he and Mina looked at Kaminari. Kaminari sighed but nodded which made Mina super happy. Katsuki then finally got back to his angry look, "Come on, the faster we get there, the better." Katsuki started to make his way to the front door.

"Right!" Mina shouted as she ran after Katsuki.

"Please remember that your ribs aren't fully healed!" Uraraka shouted after Katsuki. Katsuki quickly showed a thumbs up and watched Mina transform into her dragon form. A beautiful pink dragon with yellow eyes and horns, "It's been a while since I've last seen her in her dragon form," Kaminari said as he admired her beauty.

"I'll keep her safe dunce face and I'll be back with my shitty dragon!" Katsuki shouted as he got on Mina. Mina quickly took off, Kaminari and Sero stay in the doorway of the house as they watched the pink dragon fly into the distance.

"He better," Kaminari said which made Sero chuckle and wrap his arm around the blonde's waist.

"He will, this is Kat we're talking about. When he declares something, he does it," Sero said to make the blonde a bit happier. And it worked, Kaminari smiled at the ravenette. They then went back inside and started to talk with Uraraka to get to know her better.
