We had sprinted back to Marinette's house and made it back a minute early.

Sabine was very happy that we got back on time, but her smile faded when she noticed what we were wearing.

"Where on earth did you get such nice dresses?" Sabine asked as she felt the bottom of Marinette's dress.

"Kagami bought it for us." Marinette beamed at me and I smiled sheepishly.

"Oh my! How much was it? I'll pay you back." Sabine grabbed my hand and I saw where Marinette got her care for others from.

"Th-that won't be necessary, ma'am. I've got it covered." I bowed my head.

"Are you sure?" Sabine asked, and I nodded. "Alright, if you're sure."

"Isn't Kagami the best friend ever?" Marinette hugged me and I could feel my heart getting squashed with her words.

Best friend ever? Is that an upgrade?

"I hope you said thank you." Sabine narrowed her eyes at Marinette and I giggled.

"Only a million times." I teased, and Marinette huffed.

"I don't think even Adrien has done something like that for you." Sabine said mostly to herself, and I winced.

Please don't compare me to him.

"Let's go upstairs, Gami." Marinette grabbed my hand with a smile and pulled me up the stairs.

Once we were in her room, Marinette starting digging through a drawer. She turned to me with gray and pink pajamas that were shorts and long sleeves.

"You remember where the bathroom is, right?" Marinette asked as she picked up her own pajamas.

I nodded and left the room.

Once I got back from the bathroom, Marinette was in her PJ's and was throwing pillows on the floor.

"Uh. What are you doing?" I asked and Marinette jumped.

"Jeez Gami. You scared me." She places a hand over her heart as she climbed down from her bed.

"Sorry." I walked forward to her and took a pillow from her. "So what are you doing?"

"Slumber party!" Marinette lifted a pillow into the air and slammed it in my face.

"Woah!" I fell backward into the pile of pillows on the floor as Marinette cackled.

As I moved the pillow off of my face, Marinette jumped on top of me.

"Oof!"

"Ouch, you okay?" I opened my eyes to see Marinette straddling me, her face close to mine.

I could feel her breath on my face and her cheeks were as red as mine.

"Yeah." I breathed and Marinette smiled.

"Good. I was worried you were gonna surrender for a sec." Marinette smirked. Why the hell are her smirks so enticing?

"Oh, you're done done for." I smiled and grabbed a pillow behind me, slamming it into the side of Marinette's head.

Marinette rolled off of me laughing as I crawled away, grabbed as many pillows as I could hold.

When I turned to Marinette, I saw that she was smiling with even more pillows than I had.

"Crap." I mumbled, and Marinette smiled even wider.

She threw a pillow at me and I managed to dodge it while I threw a pillow at her.

The pillow hit her in her face and she gasped as I cackled.
