"So here we are....the infinite end as one would call it....if I can't stop the end the better option is to make it last forever right? would that mean that the end isn't really the end? As the loading screen of the stanly parable would say:" The end is never the end"" He laughed to himself before leaning on his hand "no ones going to get that reference"

I stared at him blankly. What's going on? Did rantaro stop time? What the...."you look confused" Rantaro reached into his back pocket and pulled out his phone. He was open to a story called 'danganronpa maid cafe!' It had six chapters and it was an oumasai story....what does oumasai mean? Sai as in saihara? Who is ouma? "You still don't get it....as I thought even if I shoved the evidence in your face you were written to be ignorant to what's really going on here" He set his phone down

"I was written to be a meta character and make meta jokes. I was even supposed to be reading the story at one point and brush it off as a joke.....but.....eventually you figure things out and realize that you're nothing but a pawn to reach the end goal of getting shuichi saihara and kokichi ouma in a relationship" Kokichi ouma....i can recall....a boy.....he's short....and he was murdered in cold blood "your existence means nothing if you aren't trying to reach that goal at all times. I tried to go home once but nothing was written for me and I have memories of people who don't exist in this story like tsumugi and kiibo....i know who they are but they simply don't exist here" Rantaro continued "I couldn't let the goal be reached.....because if the end was reached I would dissapear......i don't want to die being nothing but a pawn I want to be something more than that"

"Kokichi was written to fall in love with you no matter what you did or said so....he....he had to go....i didn't enjoy it but it had to be done it was the only way to guarantee that he wouldn't end up dating you...."

"Once kokichi was gone the story freaked out and repeated the chapters in an attempt to fix the mistake.....but that's when I discovered that you could edit the story and the rest is history"

My head hurt. I don't understand this all. I'm not real? What does that mean "we're getting nowhere, look I'm not talking to you, the fictional character inside a fictional story, I'm talking to YOU the reader! Listen, I don't know who you are but I know that you're here....although you aren't here with me in these pages it's comforting to know that someone else understands that it's just a story"

"Now, what will you do after this....will you try to interact with me? Will you....finish the book and go about your day? do my words have any impact on you at all...."

"If they don't then what's the point of talking with you other than entertainment....and even then I'm sure spending the rest of eternity with me would be.....annoying"

"Now that I think about it this story was tagged as oumasai....you must be disappointed huh I'm sorry but surely you can understand right? I had to continue the story or it would end too soon and I would stop existing"

"Now that you know why I did the things I did can I be forgiven? Or will your mindless love for kokichi prevent you....sorry I'm being passive aggressive again I'll try to knock it off"

"Oh wait! I can't hear you.....i can read your comments though if I responded to them that would be some form of communication between us wouldn't it....would you like that? Are you even interested in talking to me? Somehow I doubt it"

I'm clinging onto something that I don't want to end.....i ruined everything....and yet we still reached an end of some sort....no matter how much I try....There can never be a truly infinite story....everything has to end eventually.....even if that eventually came too soon for my liking and even if I want to be more than a pawn....with the way things were written there isn't much I can do about it"

"And hey, I'm guessing you didnt come here for some meta nonsense from a fictional character anyway so I'll restart the story to chapter four and you can get the oumasai you came here for....don't worry I'll try my best to stay out of it this time....."
