Dan stands at your door holding flowers he knocks and you run downstairs and open the door. Dan's face is flushed completely red and he smiles wildly at you and hands you the flowers.
"Y/N you look beautiful" He says in a shaky voice and messes with his hair nervously.
You smile "Thank you Dan you look great," you take the flowers and set them on the table and bring him inside your mother and father walk out into the living room and Dan shakes your father's hand. You smile and walk into the kitchen with your mother while Dan sits down and talks to your father about you.
Your mother stands by the oven and smirks at you. "So you and this Dan boy are a thing now huh?" she asks raising her eyebrow.
You blush "Well yeah I guess" you play with your hair
Your mother laughs and walks into the dining room where your father and Dan are already sitting and talking. You sit next to Dan and pick at your food while drinking wine. Your mother and father tell embarrassing stories about you and your face turns red and Dan chuckles and pats your knee under the table. After dinner you and Dan walk to the door and he gives you a soft kiss on the cheek. When he gets home you two talk all night on the phone.
