Somewhere in Korea.

The night was cold.

Blood raced down his jaw from the gashes on his face, tainting his sweat soaked shirt with cruel shades of crimson.

He couldn't recall how he ended up running into the woods. His memories were hazy. All he remembered was he wanted to get away from those brutes who wanted to finish him this time.

Mind has a tyrannical way to protect one's sanity.

He drew a deep breath and the icy wind pricked at his busted lips. He gnashed his teeth at the stinging pain, hugging himself against the wind before taking in his surroundings for the first time.

The dark, dense forest was eerily silent except for the faint howls echoing from afar.

Wolves.

Frightened, he moved closer to the old oak behind him as if it would envelope his mesomorphic body in it's embrace.

Sometimes fear overthrows rationality out of the window, turning us into little wimps.

Hand trembling with cold, he dug into his pockets for his phone but it was gone.He heaved a sigh and threw his head back in despair when he heard a whisper. He froze in his track. He could hear the wind carry another whisper to his ear.

A chill ran down his spine. He jumped to his feet this time, gulping. He looked around franatically when a moving shadow behind a tree arrested his attention. Curiosity got the best of him as he inched closer.

"Hello?"

Before he could take a step further, a heard a twig snap behind him, meaning the men were closing in on him so made a run deep into the forest.

His feet could no longer go on and his lungs were exhausted from gasping. His vision was getting blurred from the lack of oxygen. He had to halt again, this time the exhaustion knocked him down to the ground. When he collected himself, he could hear a whisper sneer in the air again.
He surveyed his surroundings in a panic.

Could it be that the men has found him? Or is it the voices in his head getting louder? He questioned his sanity at this point.

Far into the fog, he noticed a pair of red orbs peeking from behind the tree and then his eyes met a sudden white flash, burning them down to the socket and the rest was a phantasmagoric blurr.
