AMELIA POV
I enter through the metal door with the help of the female guard's key card and a tight-lipped smile to the guards.
Inside, one of the four walls is completely dominated by a large safe door. Elaborately crafted, with twisting gears and bars.
I make my way toward it, my timer for 15 minutes set and ticking down rapidly. It takes 7 of those minutes for the decoding device to develop the correct 6-digit code. A distinctive click can be heard as one of three deadbolts come loose.
I then pull out my key and twist it through the lock, hearing a second distinctive click.
Now the fingerprint scanner. I pull out a small zip-lock bag from my chest pocket and pull out the small silicone circle, containing the fingerprint to good old Mr Parker.
[Three days ago]
"Great... the Auction is set for the 22nd... See, I knew you could see reason... I'll see you October then."
Parker exits his office, the bang of the ornament drawing his attention.
I quickly dash into the office and grab the forgotten whiskey glass, bagging it quickly and disappearing with the wind.
[Back to present]
I place the artificial fingerprint, drawn from the tumbler onto the scanner and listen for that final, fatal click. Like the yawning of an awoken beast, the safe doors creak open and spill light into the room.
5 minutes left.
I step inside, cataloguing the shelves upon shelves of filing cabinets.
I search the walls for a moment, seeking a particular draw that would bring me one step closer to victory and finally spot it along the left wall.
Removing the entire stack of files from its place, I allow myself 10 seconds of inspection to ensure I have found the correct documents.
I grab my shoulder bag and unpack the contents. Seemingly identical files to the ones I had just stolen are packed straight back into that draw.
Just for the heck of it, I grab about $100,000 from a shelf nearby to redirect their suspicions and casually lock the safe back up.
Let them believe it was a robbery.
1-minute remaining.
I grab my things and stand at the door, listening in as the footsteps shuffle, preparing for a change of shift.

The guards outside move away from their post, a total of 10 seconds defines my window of escape before a new round of guards renews the old. I slip easily outside and make my exit.
