Chapter Seven "The Next Orb"
Part 3 "I set myself on Fire"
Michael’s POV
Since the last battle of me and Midas, I feel my body getting weaker but when the sunset and sunrise came, my body was fully healed and I can bend the elements. When the sun stop touching the soil, my powers were gone. I can still fight but I can use any magic. All I had was the knife given to me by Kin the day we talk that night.
I can remember it very clear. I was drinking water on kin’s room and I noticed that he went inside. I wave my hands and the water obeyed. That’s the first day I learned to bend elements. After 10 minutes, he gave me a knife.
“What will I do with this?” I asked
“You will need it, I foresaw that there’s a place you can’t use your magic power so use this to defend yourself but beware! It will drain your energy as soon as you used it”
“Oh”
“I will store this to your locker”
“What? I have a locker? “I asked
“Yes, Invisible. You can only retrieve in times of sever distressed or when you can’t use your magic.”
“How can I open it?”
“Think of huge place where you can store anything and thing of a combination lock.” He replied
“Why?”
“Because every royalty has its own Locker.”
“You mean I’m Royalty?” I asked
“That I can’t answer but in time you will see for yourself”
“How did you know all of this?” I asked
“Caused I’m an oracle before…. Before my brother was born”
“What do you mean?”
“Our parents were blessed by Lord Sein the power of the oracle. I was born with that gift.”
“What happened?” I asked
“I broke a rule.” He said while his face becomes sadder.
“What rule?”
“Oracle will not say anything about his visions when he’s asleep or else he will burn into ashes. I tell my mother about the destiny of five.”
“You mean us?” I said
I can feel that this conversation will last long so we seated at the bed made of bamboo sticks.
“Yes. I saw that I will die; all of you will have great powers. One can bend, one can heal, one can morph, one has the ability to use swords and one can turn invisible.”
“What happened?”
“My Body began to glow and I can feel that it was burning, and when that time is happening, my mother will gave birth. When a baby came out, my body stop glowing and the baby’s eyes began to glow”
After that I fell asleep and began snoring. Now where was I? Ahhhh here. Im here tied again in a tree while Midas is standing in front of me.
“Well, Well I said you can’t defeat me.”
“Maybe”
“1 hour before the Sunset, it means they only have 3 days” she said
I looked at the open sky and I saw that the sun began to touch the ground and I regained my powers. I burned down the ropes and and jump at the back of Midas.
“You think you can beat me? Well, I will beat you for the 4th times in a row!” she shouted.
I summoned Fire and air combination on her and it hits it mark. I think it damages her body but I can feel my own attack. It was painful. I feel the cold breeze of wind and the hot fire covering my body. Why I can feel all of this? I thought I was invulnerable in all elements? I remembered what Midas said to me awhile ago “YOUR BODY IS CONNECTED TO ME”. I shot water towards her and when the water clears, she was fully healed, so was I.
“This battle was pointless” I muttered
“Why? Because you know you will lose again?” I asked
“NO!” I summoned fire and it swirls my own body
