To my destany.
The towel squeaked as it glided across the glass. Mindlessly wiping the window, I gazed out the window, watching as grey clouds covered the sky. BOOM! The sky split into two as a deep rumble of thunder rang through my ears. I finished up quickly, a sudden desire urging me to go outside.
After my shift ended, I rushed outside to grab my bike. Standing under the awning, I stuck my hand out, feeling the light water droplets hitting my palm.
It began to pour.
Smiling, I hopped on my bike, left the awning, and began to bike toward the east.
I lifted my face up, feeling soft rain splatter on my face. And as the crystal-clear water appeared on my fragile skin, I laughed lightly. I biked to the nearby convenience store, left my bike on the rack, and sat on the benches under the light blue umbrella.
I sat there, admiring each droplet falling from the sky, bouncing off the ground-- jumping as if each one were alive.
Upon the umbrella came playful sounds. Pit-pat, pit-pat. I closed my eyes-- feeling the soft wind blow and listening to the light rain that began to stop my thoughts and calm me.
As I opened my eyes, I noticed a teenage boy with brown hair sitting right next to me, extending out his left hand to touch the rain.
Park Ji Hyun, was the first thought that came to mind. Looking at the teenage boy reminded me of my first love, Ji Hyun. However, he was not Ji Hyun-- there was no way.
