Waking up with a loud gasp, Aine shot up from the bed and glanced around the room while trying to push herself up from the bed. She gulped, feeling her throat being dry.

"You might want to take things slow, little fairy," a voice spoke up, her eyes snapping over towards to the figure who sat on the edge of the bed. She frowned, stopping in her tracks.

"Where's Elijah?" Her words came out in a whisper, gripping on the white bed sheets tightly. She looked down at herself and realised she was still stuck in her fairy outfit from last night. Aine pulled the sheets up to her body.

"I'm here," the said vampire spoke just as he walked inside the room. He glanced at Damon before rolling his eyes, stepping forward to his sister as he handed the glass of water and a blood bag over.

She hesitated, watching the male with confusion before Damon chuckled. "You don't have to put the act up anymore, I found out from that human friend of yours who you are," he waved his hands in dismissal. "You should thank him too, he donated quite a huge amount of blood."

"You took blood from Stiles?" She squeaked, pulling her hand back to her chest that went out to grab the bag.

The vampire chuckled loudly. "You're so easy to fool, don't worry little fairy. I didn't even touch him."

She reached out again and took the bag, pulling it up to her nose to give it a small sniff. Being filled with relief that it smelt like deer blood, she rather quickly downed the whole bag before taking the glass of water and drinking it after.

"I need to go to school... I need to talk to Scott," she mumbled, pushing the covers off her body to stand. She stumbled into her brother's arms, whining quietly.

"I don't think so. Not yet at least," Elijah shook his head, "just relax first. You probably need about two more blood bags before you can have your energy back. I'll get you some clothes from Rebekah's suitcase."

"You had her clothes this whole time?" She asked, looking up at him with a pout. "Asshole," she slapped his chest before moving herself back over to the bed. Letting out a heavy breath as her body did feel quite exhausted, she still reached out and grabbed her black hairbrush.

Feeling Damons eyes on her, she tried to ignore his hard gaze and tried to brush her hair that was in knots. It made her pout even more as she's always hated having knots in her hair.

Suddenly a hand was on the hairbrush before she could brush anymore, looking up at Damon with curious eyes. "Let me help," he softly said, giving her a small nod.

She slowly and hesitantly nodded as she turned her body around, letting her long hair be faced towards the vampire. Damon had hummed with satisfaction as he started to brush her hair and surprisingly, she noticed how slow and careful he was being with her hair.

It made her lips part and her eyes flutter close from the relaxation.

"You're so gentle... do you have a little sister or something?" She asked, a small smile resting on her pink lips.

Damon had chuckled again, "hm no, actually. But I've been alive for quite a while so I've had a few girlfriends here and there. I may be pulling their hair in bed but that doesn't mean I can be gentle."

Red danced across the girl's cheeks as her eyes opened, turning her head to give the boy a glare.

"Alright, alright," he held his hands up in defence as she turned back around.

"Don't get too close now," Elijah had spoken just as he entered the room again, "that's my sister."

"I know, dear Elijah. I know," Damon sighed, "besides, I'm planning on stealing my brother's girlfriend. Aren't I the greatest?" He tapped Aine's shoulder as he had finished brushing her hair, getting up from where he sat and moving to the door. "Speaking of siblings, where are the others?"

Aine turned around again and set the hairbrush aside, grabbing a hair tie before pulling it up into a loose braid.

"Niklaus went out of town just for a bit to... sort some business while Rebekah and Kol are what you could say, hibernating," he spoke, a small smile on his lips while he handed the girl an outfit. There were also two bags of blood on the top of the pile making Aine lick her lips with hunger.

He gently pats her head, "I'll be down in the kitchen. We have another guest on their way but I'm sure you'll be fine before then."

"I'll take that as my cue to leave too. Great to meet you Aine," he raised his hand and gave a short wave before turning on his heels and walking out.

Elijah sighed quietly and followed behind to make sure the Salvatore didn't steal anything, closing the door behind him.

Aine thanked her half brother quietly before slipping out the door, closing it behind her. She glanced around before letting out a breath where she raced along towards the school. There was a game tonight and though Scott (as she thought) would be playing, she desperately needed to talk to him after.

But things didn't plan to go that way as when she showed up and seated herself beside Lydia, she noticed the boy getting shouted at to finally get onto the field. The redhead began to explain that he was benched practically the whole game.

She let out a heavy breath, hearing how her friend was talking non-stop, trying to catch up with her. Though her gaze wouldn't leave Isaac who was being carried away on a stretcher. She was meant to be upset at him but part of her missed him and his awkward hugs.

"Somethings... not right?" She mumbled with confusion, her gaze going back and forth on each member until her eyes landed on Jackson. Her body stilled.

What is he doing here?

She cursed to herself, her leg bouncing up and down.

Things had been going great - Stiles had been scoring goals and both Aine and Lydia were screaming with happiness. His dad looked the most proud if anything.

She wasn't even sure how it happened or when it happened but suddenly the lights had shut down and it was filled with silence. Then screams.

"Jackson?" The girl shouted, getting up from her seat after the lights turned on.

Aine let go of the two girls hands, breathing heavier. She couldn't move from her seat, she thought the worst that someone had died. But luckily, nothing happened yet.
