Family Pictures

-Jin's POV-

I asked us to gather in the living room because of something that I wanted to announce.

"So, I called you guys here today to tell you that I scheduled a Family photoshoot this weekend." I said.

It was our first family photoshoot ever since our parents left us which was like years ago.

"Why all of a sudden hyung?" Namjoon asked

"Have you seen any new pictures of us around here?" I asked

They all looked around and based on their facial expression they didn't find any

"No. So, I think it's time for us to have a nice family portrait that we can hang somewhere around the house." I continued.

"Do we have a theme Hyung?" Taehyung asked

"That's another reason why I called for this family meeting." I said "Do you guys have any suggestions?" I added.

"How about we do a superhero theme?!" Jungkook suggested

We all looked at him confused

"We're thinking of a theme for family pictures, not for a party Jungkook..." Yoongi said

Jungkook pouted

"I was just suggesting..." Jungkook said

The boys gave more suggestions but what caught my attention is Y/n being so quiet.

"Sis, do you have any suggestions?" I asked her

She didn't expect me to ask her and glanced at all of us awkwardly

"Uhhh, I'm okay with any you guys pick." She said which is unusual

Usually, she would come up with lots of suggestions and even fight with the others for her suggestions.

"Are you okay? You've been quiet since we started this." I said

Jimin, who was sitting beside her placed his palm on her forehead

"Are you feeling sick again?" He asked while feeling her forehead

She shook her head and remove his head gently

"I'm fine..." she simply said

I looked at her worriedly while she stayed quiet

I can see the other boys are worried about her too but didn't want to make the atmosphere too awkward

The boys kept giving suggestions until we all agreed on a theme.

We all agreed to wear purple and white outfits for the family photo shoot.

After the family meeting, they all went to their rooms to do their own things.

I was about to go into my room when

"Jin Oppa... Can I talk to you?" Y/n asked

"Of course sis..." I said and went into her room

We both sat down on her bed

"Everything okay sis?" I asked

She nodded

"It's just that... It's been a while ever since our last family photo shoot and this will be our first without mom and dad.." She said

I sighed

"I know sis.. Is that what bothers you?" I asked

She shrugged her shoulders

"I don't know. It's just different now." She said "I miss them Oppa." She added with tears in her eyes

I look at her sadly and gave her a hug

"I know sis. I miss them too and I know our brothers miss them also." I said

Y/n just sat beside me and stayed quiet. I released a sigh and hugged her.

"Everything will be alright sis. I promise you that." I said reassuring her

She nodded her head and just hugged me back.

-End of Jin's POV-

Time skip...

-Y/n POV-

It was the day of the photo shoot, we were all getting ready. I look at the dress that I was about to wear. Jin Oppa took me to go shopping for a dress yesterday, I actually didn't need a new one but Jin insisted to buy one.

It was a purple knee-length dress and Taehyung Oppa told me to wear my gold doll shoes that Jimin Oppa got me for my birthday last year.

Once I was ready, I hear a knock on my door

"Come in" I said, seeing Yoongi Oppa entering

"Jin hyung asked me to check on you" my brother said

"Am I the only one who you guys are waiting for?" I asked

He shook his head "Taehyung and Jungkook are still getting ready. Do you need anything? I can ask Jimin if he can do your hair?" He asked wondering if you needed any help

"I think I'm fine Oppa, I'll just have my hair in a half ponytail, but I can do it." I said earning a nod from him

He suddenly walked towards me "We're going to be fine..." he said but I knew what he was talking about

Jin Oppa probably told him about what I felt a few days ago. I smiled at him slightly and hugged him

"You won't leave me like how they left us right?" I asked worried that someday they will leave me one by one

"Of course not! Even though we'll be having our own families, I'm still your big brother. Not just me, you still have 6 more. We love you so much and there is no way that we can stop loving you. You are stuck with us for the rest of your life, remember that." he said

Hearing those words made me happy "I love you Oppa" I said while still hugging him

"I love you too sis" he said back "Now, let's start heading downstairs before Jin hyung explodes for waiting too long." He added and chuckled

I chuckled as well knowing that Jin Oppa always wants to be on time when it comes to occasions like this.

And with that, both Yoongi Oppa and I head downstairs to join the rest.
