Dentist Appointment

As a 6 year old, you are really addicted to sweets and Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon and Jhope doesn't allow you to eat candies a lot. They would always tell you that if you eat a lot of sweets, teeth bugs will start living on your teeth. Though you never stop eating sweets since Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin would always spoil you with your favorite candies and they would end up getting scold at by Jin. 

It's Saturday morning and Jin had told you that Namjoon will take you to the Dentist for your monthly check up. You are actually terrified since your friends will always say that they will end up puling out your teeth, and you didn't want that to happen. You cried infront of your Oppa and beg not to go "Please Oppa, I don't want to go." you cried. Jin sighed "But you have to baby sis.." he said. You cried even more "Oppa please, I promise I won't eat a lot of candies anymore." you begged as more tears escape on your eyes.

It breaks Jin's heart just seeing you cry and beg like that. But he has no choice, you need to go to the dentist "Baby, you have too. Beside, your Namjoon Oppa will be with and will never leave you alone." your eldest brother said trying to make you feel a little bit better. Namjoon nodded hearing what Jin said when he walked in "Jin Hyung is right sis. Don't worry, I won't leave you alone and I will always be by your side." Namjoon said

You were hesitating, but you knew they will never let you miss a dentist appointment. You look at Namjoon with tear stains on your face "You promise Joonie Oppa?" you asked and raising up your pinky. Namjoon nodded "I promise sis!" he said and wrapping his pinky finger on your pinky finger.

Time skip...

You and Namjoon just arrived at the Dentist. You both were waiting for your turn and you were getting so nervous "Oppa, I'm nervous. What if they have to pull out a tooth? It will hurt." you said getting teary. Namjoon who was scrolling down his phone looked at you "They won't baby sis. We are just here for your monthly check up and get your teeth cleaned." he said. You are still scared. You never liked going to the dentist. You would always cry and beg not to go, but your brothes won't let you miss an appointment since it's for your health.

Your were fiddling your fingers when a lady called your name "Kim Y/N." a nurse called your name. Namjoon stand up and held you in his arms knowing that you won't be standing up anytime soon.

Once you both entered, you were greeted by the doctor "Good morning Y/N. How are you today?" he asked you with a smile. You stayed quiet since you are so scared and just looked around "I'm sorry Doctor. It's just that she's scared." your brother said. "Oh, is that so? Well Y/N, don't worry okay, I'll just check your teeth and do a little bit of cleaning. Okay?" the doctor said reassuring you that everything will be okay. You just nodded your head as a reply.

The doctor asked you to go to the chair where he well check your teeth. You never let go on Namjoon's arms "It's okay sis. I won't leave you." he said reassuring you. You let go of him and sat at the "Dentist Chair". Namjoon sat at a chair across from you so that you can still see him "Okay, let's start. Open your mouth wide for me Y/N." the doctor said.

You obeyed and opened your mouth "Looks like you've been taking good care of your teeth Y/N. Does your brothers make sure that you brush your teeth every day?" the doctor asked as he check your teeth. You nodded and Namjoon smiled "That's good Y/N. Make sure you keep it that way so that you won't have any cavity bugs growing in your teeth okay?" the doctor instructed. You nodded again since you can't talked because the doctor is still checking your teeth "Okay, let's start cleaning your teeth." the doctor said after checking your teeth.

You immediately close your mouth due to nervousness "Hey, don't worry okay? It won't hurt, I'll just brush your teeth with this electric toothbrush. It doesn't hurt okay?" he said. You were still hesitating, the doctor noticed your hesitation "You want the feel the brush first once it touches your skin?" he asked you. You nodded.

The Doctor reached for your hand and place the brush gently on your hand. Once you felt the brush, it didn't hurt at all "Did it hurt?" the doctor asked you. You shook your head "no". The doctor smiled "See? I promise you that it won't hurt." he said.

You look at your brother who was just watching you. He smiled and nodded his head saying that it will be okay.

You nodded your head at Namjoon and laid down on the "Dentist Chair".

Time Skip... 

You actually did great during your dentist appointment. The Doctor told you to make sure you brush your teeth everyday and to drink lots of water after eating or drinking any sweets to avoid cavities.

You look up at Namjoon who is just holding your hand while you both are crossing the street going to the supermarket since Jin asked Namjoon to buy some eggs and milk, he also asked Namjoon to get something for you "Namjoon Oppa?" you asked him. He looked at you "Yes sis?" he asked. "Did I do great at the Dentist?" you asked. Namjoon smiled at your question "Yes you did sis. That's why Jin Hyung asked me to get something for you as a reward." he said. You gasp "Really Oppa?" you asked excitedly. He nodded "Yup!" he said. You smiled widely "Do I get to choose my reward Oppa?" you asked. Namjoon chuckled "Of course sis! But just choose only one, okay?" he said. You nodded "Okay Oppa! Thank you so much for not leaving me Oppa!" you said with a smile.

Namjoon smiled and held you in his arms "Anything for you sis! I want to make sure that you're okay and happy." he smiled. You hugged him and kissed his cheek "I love you Oppa!" you said while hugging him. Namjoon hugged you back "Love you too sis!" he replied.
