I woke up, feeling better than before. I opened my eyes, seeing I wasn't outside in the castle, but in a beautiful room. I laid on a comfy large sized king bed with crimson red, silky sheets, and crimson red heart pillow. The walls were covered in white wallpapers with crimson red rose design-petal. Two giant windowed curtains. A balcony with red rose petals on the floor. A wardrobe beside a mirror. A chandelier on top of the center, and a big crimson red carpet at the center of the floor. And a giant door. This room was beautiful and marvelous.
'The owner must be the one who brought me here," I said, looking at the mirror. But when I looked, I didn't dressed with torn and ripped clothes. Instead, I wore a cute white night gown with long sleeves that reached my wrist, a dark pink ribbon on my collar, and pink heart-shape patters on my dress.
I stared at the reflection of my mirror, feeling comfy on my wearing. Not only that, my hair wasn't messy anymore. It doesn't have twigs or leaves. But, it was tied in two pigtails beside my head, with same cute ribbon. My face was clean, also; no dirt or any small scratches. I was surprised that the owner must have changed my clothing after I passed out.
Then, the door opened, seeing a man. He walked towards the bed, patting it beside him. I sat beside him, feeling nervous.
"What's your name, little girl?" He asked, smiling at me.
"(Y/N) (L/N)," I replied, backing away from him. I studied his appearance for a while.
He had a strawberry blonde hair with a red little hat. Red coat and dark blue cape with ribbon on his collar. His boots were brown with X-laces and an inch heel. His eyes were crimson red as ruby and his teeth has a fang on the right side. He also wore black gloves. To me, he looks like a vampire, but I'm not sure if he is one. I was so busy checking on him that I didn't realized his face was an inch closer to mine.
"Waah!" I screeched, covering my face. I didn't know this man, nor I don't know if this is a man. He looked at me, touching my hands.
"It's okay, I won't hurt you. I'm not going to hurt you, I promise," he whispered gently. His soothing voice made me calm. I think he's a hood guy, at least.
"Who are you?" Now it was my turn to asked his name.
"Vladimir. Vladimir Popescu. Now, (Y/N), what were you doing outside my castle?" I didn't dare to answered his question. Instead, I instantly hugged him and cried. To my surprise, he wrapped his arms around me, feeling protected. I don't even know this guy yet, but he's so nice and let me cried on his coat.
"Shhh. Shhhh. There, there, little one. It's okay." He was making a circle on my back. I was calmed, but I was still sniffing. My eyes were red and puffy from so much crying. Vladimir was singing a lullaby and it did help.
"I'm sorry," I apologized, looking down. I stared down on my lap, feeling sad and depressed.
"Why?" Clutching the sheets, I made a small noise.
"For being such a burden to you. You shouldn't have just saved me. My life is useless, anyway. I even cried in front of you and I thought you'd laugh, but you didn't. I'm so-"
But I didn't finished my sentences. He ruffled my hair and put his finger on my lips."No, you're not. You're special," he said. But I didn't believed his words. I'm not special and will not be because I'm just a useless piece of trash. Even though I'm just an eight year old girl, I'm pretty much smart to know my self that I'm not like them.
"Come, I'm sure you're hungry, yes? Follow me." He held his hand in front of me. I took it and jump from the bed, making sure I didn't stumble. Vladimir opened the door and led me.
Outside from the room where I slept, was a big hall room with staircases and doors. There was a bigger chandelier and carpet. We walked to the right, pushing the door.
Inside the room was so big. There, I saw a long table with two chairs at the end of the sides. There were also many foods there with candles lit. A fireplace. A giant mirror. A beautiful painting. A polar bear carpet with its mouth open. I didn't know this could be so big.
