We were all a happy family back then; my mom would play with me when I'm bored and sing me lullaby when it's time to go to sleep. She would always bake delicious pies, cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Her eyes would sparkle whenever she shows her smile or laugh that would make sad people happy. She's always active, even she's tired.

My dad, of course, always hugs us after he's home and give me a piggy ride. He sometimes help me sneak into the kitchen to give me a cookie but it always failed because we get caught by mom. He always smile even we are in a worst situations because he knows that everything will be fine.

But it's not.

Everything changed when dad and mom lost their job. They began slacking off and drinking beers and abuses me when they feel they want to. Our family are now nothing but a broken pieces of glass.

I sighed, sitting in the corner of my room, being consumed by darkness. I just wanted my family to be back again just like the way it was. But it seems that the universe hates me so much that it always just gives me nothing but pain, hatred and sufferings.

I heard my mom and dad shouting and yelling outside from my room, banging the door furiously. I had locked the door so they couldn't come in but I know that it won't last long. Standing up from my position, I quickly went over to my window. Looking down, I gulped. The house was three story-house and I was on the top because they didn't want me to escape.

"(Y/N)! Open the door now! I said open it now before we will strangle you to death!" My dad yelled. I grabbed a rope on my table and tied it on the feet of my bed. I made sure that it was tied tightly. Then, I hold the rope tightly on my hands and slide of the window.

I was on the ground, unharmed. I knew that my parents are still at the third floor, not knowing that I'm actually free now. Now all I have to do is run away from this recked place and find a place to stay.

The rain started to pour and it rained hard. I ran fast as I could to anywhere but here in this city. I didn't ran where there is society; I just want to live in a peaceful environment where I can feed animals and enjoy the life of mother nature.

I was so exhausted that I didn't noticed my stomach grumbled of starvation. There even some twigs and leaves stuck in my hair and my dress have thorn apart in edges. I didn't know what to do. I didn't even bring a food or drink.

There, I saw something in the distance. A light. I ran to where it was. Seeing a big scary castle, I knocked the door, waiting patiently for someone to open it. But my clearing became blurred and my eyes began to feel drossy. I couldn't help but to sleep.

"I don't want to die," I said, feeling down. I suddenly fainted.
