Chapter 3:Confession

Serena POV

I woke up wanting to go tell Ash. I knocked on his door and his mom answered.

Delia:You must be Serena.
Serena:Yes. Is Ash here?
Delia:No he went on a walk. I think he was heading to Pewter City.
Serena:Thank you.

I ran in the direction of Viridian City while looking at my map. Turns out Pewter City isn't far from Viridian City. I made my way there and bumped into someone.

Serena:Sorry.
???:Its ok. Are you alright?
Serena:Yeah I'm fine. I was just heading to Pewter City to find Ash.
???:Ash? Why do you wanna find Ash?
Serena:Well you see. I moved here from Kalos because I want to be with him. I love him.
???:Aw man that Ashy boy is lucky having a girl who loves him. Come on I'll take ya to him.
Serena:Really?
???:Yeah. Oh and you can call me Gary.
Serena:I'm Serena.

We made our way to Pewter City and there was Ash coming out of the Poke mart.

Serena:Ash!
Ash:Hey Serena.

I blushed as I was about say why I came.

Ash:Hey Serena. They're having a festival tonight in Cerulean City, wanna come?
Serena:Oh sure.
Ash:I'll meet ya in Viridian City tonight.
Serena:Ok.

I went home and got ready for tonight. I decided to wear a tshirt I bought and some sweatpants as I grabbed my bag and ran out my door to go meet Ash. I met up with him and we made our way to Cerulean City. He grabbed my hand gently while we walked. I blushed and held his too. Once we got there the festival had already started. We played a few games and I won a big Charmander. Ash and I ended up going on the ferris wheel. Then finally Ash wanted to go to the karaoke stand so we went. There was one girl who sang beautifully.

Ash applied for his song.

Ash POV

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to tell Serena how I feel. So I applied my song and it was after this one guy.

Then came me. I was nervous but I looked at Serena and began to sing.

I pointed at Serena in certain parts of the song letting her know that I love her and I saw her tear up.

Serena POV

As Ash sang his song I teared up. He pointed at me in certain parts in the song and he sang great. I couldn't hold back my tears. After the song was over Ash jumped off the stage and came over to me.

Ash:I love you Serena. I wanted to tell you for a while now.
Serena:I...I love you too Ash.

After I said that he pulled me into a hug and I hugged back not wanting to let go. The crowd around us cheered.

Ash:Hey Serena how about you sing?
Serena:Uhhh ok.

I went up to the stage and put in my song as i began to sing.

After my song ended everyone cheered. I saw a few people with tears in their eyes. I came down from the stage.

Ash:Serena I didn't know you could sing like that.
Serena:Yeah.

He took my hand and we made our way home. Once we got home I finally told Ash my true feelings.

Serena:Ash. The reason I moved here...was because of you. I wanted to be with you more then anything. So I moved here to be by your side.
Ash:Serena...

He approached me and pulled me into a kiss. I was shocked at first then fell into the kiss. We separated and hugged very tightly.

Serena:I love you Ash.
Ash:I love you too Serena.
