Chapter 5:Serena tries a gym battle

Serena POV

I woke up that morning in Ash's arms. I looked up to see that he was still asleep. I just stayed there and slept a little more until he woke up. Eventually he did wake up.

Ash:Hey beautiful.
Serena:Hey handsome.

We pecked our lips good morning as I went to the bathroom.

Serena:Hey Ash you need the bathroom right now?
Ash:Just for a quick second. Why gonna take a shower?
Serena:Yeah.
Ash:Alright I'll go ahead and do my thing.

He used the bathroom then flushed the toilet. I took a shower, got dressed, and then I went down to sit with Ash.

Serena:Hey Ash?
Ash:Yeah?
Serena:I don't want you to let me go.
Ash:I won't. I swear sometimes your too cute for your own good.

I giggled as I put on a show I got into called Love Hina. Ash kinda began to get into it. He laughed at a few of the scenes.

Serena:Hey Ash?
Ash:Yeah?
Serena:Is there anything you want to watch?
Ash:No your fine.
Serena:Ash. I insist.
Ash:Alright if you say so.

He grabbed the remote and put on Disney+. He put on a movie called Big Hero 6.

Serena:You like this movie?
Ash:Never heard of it but it looks cool.
Serena:It gets sad.

He put it on and we watched it. The movie ended and Ash and I decided to take a walk together.

Ash:Hey Serena?
Serena:Yeah?
Ash:Just a quick question. Ever thought about having a gym battle?
Serena:A few times. Just for fun.
Ash:They can be pretty fun. So how about this, maybe you can face Brock for a first.
Serena:Wasn't he one of your travel companions?
Ash:Yeah but he's also the gym leader in Pewter City.
Serena:Awesome.

We made our way to Pewter City and when we walked in a spiky haired guy was there.

Brock:Hey Ash.
Ash:Hey Brock.
Brock:You must be Serena. Ash has told me quite a bit about you.
Serena:Yeah. I thought I'd challenge your gym just for fun.
Brock:Oh I see. Well alright it'll be a 2 on 2 battle. Ash wanna ref?
Ash:Sure.

We made our way to the battlefield as I went to my side and Brock went to his.

Ash:The battle between gym leader Brock and challenger Serena is about to begin. This'll be a 2 on 2 battle and it will end when both Pokemon are unable to battle. Ready?

We both nodded.

Ash:Alright battle begin!
Brock:Geodude go!

A Geodude came out of the poke ball.

Geodude:Geodude!

Serena:Sylveon let's go!
Sylveon:Sylveon.
Brock:You can make the first move.
Serena:Alright. Sylveon use Fairy Wind!

Sylveon attacked using her attack.

Brock:Geodude dodge then use rollout!

Geodude dodged it and rushed towards Sylveon.

Serena:Dodge it then use Swift!

She dodged it then shot a star beam at Geodude hitting it directly.

Brock:Mega Punch let's go!
Serena:Double Team!

Geodude tried to attack but got confused from all the Sylveons that appeared.

Serena:Now all of you use Fairy Wind!

They all attacked and Geodude got defeated.

Ash:Geodude is unable to battle Sylveon wins!

We both returned our Pokemon with me telling Sylveon to take a rest while Brock praised his Geodude telling it to rest as well.

Brock:Now Onix come on out!

He sent out his Onix while I sent out my last Pokemon for this battle.

Serena:Pancham let's go!

I sent out my Pancham.

Serena:Pancham use Dark Pulse!

He shot a dark beam out of his hands.

Brock:Onix use Bind!

Serena:Dodge it quick!

Pancham jumped in midair.

Serena:Now use Dark Pulse!

The attack hit Onix straight on the head.

Brock:Onix use Iron Tail!

Onix's tail lit up and hit Pancham slamming it down.

Serena:Pancham! Are you alright?!

He got up barely able to stand.

Serena:Now Arm Thrust!

Pancham's arm glowed and hit Onix knocking it out.

Ash:Onix is unable to battle Pancham wins. Meaning Serena is the winner!

I hugged Pancham letting it know it did good.

Brock:Well you won. So now you get a boulder badge.
Serena:Thank you.

After that we went home. Ash had to go home that night so we kissed and said goodnight to each other.
