I haven't got any sleep, ever since I've been seeing them in my dreams it's been so hard to sleep.

'I want to go back home, I shouldn't have came here' I thought. I would pull out my phone as I looked for a nearby trial to a gas station or somewhere to get a ride home.

I then realize we don't even have a signal, we were not even allowed to use magic at no cost unless it was an emergency. I adjusted my glasses as I looked at the pile of books on my bed.

Based on what I've read and seen,

These creatures, these figures were real monster, they weren't some random gods. They were like us, but more advanced, like us but different.

August would nuzzle his cheek under my hands, looking up at me with its lava red eyes. He had something to show me and I could tell.

I followed him, august new more beyond the books.

August is the book.

August is one of them.

August isn't normal.

Am I normal?

August was leading me to the lake again, he looked different though, he was a skeleton like the others and me.

Why is august walking into the water?

Why do I feel wet?

This doesn't make sense.

I would watch as the water started to shake, vibration? We don't have any big creatures unless the figure is back, do you know about this august?

All I could do is just let my body sink into the water more and more until I was completely in the water. Though my body wasn't as wet, as well as august. He just swam through the water until we saw them.

Everything went black.

"Wow, so that's all you remember?" Gradient asked, he looked and seemed tired since it was already dark outside and campers were getting called inside for dinner.

"You should go to the cafeteria, people must be worried about you!" Sci would pet gradients skull as he walked off with Cary, his pet bunny he found yesterday. Everyone thought the bunny was a girl when it was actually a dude, don't ask how we found out.

"Gradient?" Paperjam snapped his brother out of his thoughts by snapping his fingers in front of gradient's face. "Your food will get cold" the older sibling spoke as he tried to feed gray who refused to eat that, the smell of the food wasn't that appealing. Crescent would walk back over and used his tentacle to take the spoon. He would try his attempt to feed gray by lifting his face with his free hand and holding the spoon the his other hand.

"Say 'ahhh'" cres prompted, and as if it was magic gradient would open his mouth which revealed his sharp teeth and 4 tongue. Before the food was fed to gradient he would cover gradient's nose to hope the smell doesn't despise him to not eat this. Gradient would close and mouth and swallowed the food, and like that it was gone.

Present time, 10:13pm

Crescent was still awake, thoughts were going through his head as he got more nervous, more events will happen tomorrow and he doesn't know what could happen. Tomorrow they do training with their new weapons and he knows how much chaos this was going to be-

All these thoughts paused as he heard something, he couldn't hear it clear, but it was something. He wanted to follow the noise. He followed his first mind and went to the noise to be replaced with crashes and yells which alarmed most adults who was awake.

Dream and Blue rushed into the room as murmurs could be heard, worried ones.

12:07am

It took awhile for everything to calm down and everyone. The kids would stay in the room as the adults went to call ink and error. Apparently the noises came from gradient having a mental break down sadly which lead to him being in some panic from the glitching and blindness, honestly they though the magic border would have canceled and prevented this from happening.

Crescent was rocking gradient side to side as his muffled mumbles could be heard, the errors in his eyes would start to delete itself more often as he calmed down. Pj would rub his back as he tried to help him with his magic. Since it was passed 12 technically there powers were activated now which is most likely why the breakdown happened like so.

Maybe this happen for a reason.

What if gradient was supposed to have this break down?

What if he was too deep?
