megumi's parts for the next couple chapters are going to be in the third person!! bc of the way he is rn i feel like it makes more sense to write it this way you'll see

Megumi looked around, a strangely familiar red glow and mounds of animal bones surrounding him. His head felt foggy, and he couldn't remember much of anything. He felt something hard behind his back, slowly turning his head around to see what it was. A large figure sat behind him, his hair pink and spiky, thick black tattoos lining his body.

"How are you feeling?" The man's voice was deep and raspy, "Do you remember what happened?"

Megumi searched his mind for any recollection of what had happened, but he found nothing. He shook his head no.

"You got hurt really badly. You'd be dead if I hadn't brought you back to life".

Megumi was shocked at his words. How was he able to bring him back?

"You saved me?" Megumi's voice came out as a croak, his throat aching and burning with each word.

"Of course," the man lifted his large hand and stroked the side of Megumi's face.

Megumi tried again, grasping for any sort of memory that could explain his current situation, but his head remained empty. Did he know this man? What kind of relationship do they have exactly?

"Thank you," Megumi slowly nodded his head. Regardless of who this man was or what had happened, it seems like he had saved his life.

"Where are we... and... who are you?" Megumi stared up at him with big eyes, his head swirling with mystery and confusion.

"My name is Ryoumen Sukuna," the man began, pulling Megumi into his lap. He continued on to explain that he lived here, and that Megumi belonged here with him. Sukuna talked about these people named jujutsu sorcerers, and how they were hunting him for his immense power. He explained that in their efforts to hunt him, they had attacked Megumi as well. He spent the next few minutes explaining Megumi's injuries, and how he had almost died, but thankfully Sukuna was able to save him. He fed him lie after lie, until Megumi was completely brainwashed by his words.

"It seems you've suffered some memory loss," Sukuna frowned, "I'm sure it will come back to you though".

Megumi just nodded silently the entire time the man talked. He had no proof that what he was saying was the truth, but he found himself believing every word he said. After all, it's not like he had much of a choice. He was in a strange place, covered from head to toe in injuries, and it seemed like this man had been caring for him.

"The sorcerers will come back," Sukuna brushed his long fingernails through Megumi's messy hair, "We need to make sure you're all healed up by then, so you can help me".

Megumi felt a tiny bit of fear in his chest at the thought of these sorcerers coming back. If they had caused all of his injuries, they must be powerful people.

"Don't worry too much, I'll protect you," Sukuna assured him, and Megumi felt some of his fears subside.

Soon though he began to feel his consciousness waver in and out, exhaustion wiping over his body as he swayed back and forth.

"Rest," the man's voice sounded far away. Megumi felt his head fall against the man's chest, his eyes fluttering closed.

Itadori's POV

"You think Sukuna has pulled him into his domain within my mind?" I couldn't even wrap my head around what Gojo Sensei was saying. How was this even possible?

"Essentially, yes," Gojo sighed, "Sakuna still exists even when you have control of your body. When this is the case, he exists in some kind of domain that he has created. You may have even been there before, you just might not remember. From what we understand, he can pull people in and kick people out of this reality as he pleases".

"So how do we get in?" I was trying my best to keep calm, but my chest felt like it was about to burst. I couldn't stop myself from imagining all of the horrible things Sukuna could be doing to Megumi right now.

"That's the problem," Gojo shook his head, "As far as we understand, unless Sukuna himself brings you into the domain, there's no way to get there".

"What?" My head was about to explode from anger, "How are we gonna get him out?"

"Let me finish," Gojo held up his hand. I sunk into my chair and stayed quiet while he talked.

"You might be able to get inside. Because you and Sukuna are sharing the same body you have access to each other's subconscious. You'll have to learn how to tap into that, and you should be able to force your way into his domain. Unfortunately, unless Sukuna were to voluntarily bring me into his domain, there's no way for me or anyone else to go with you. You'll have to do this yourself".

"I can do it!" I stood up, my heart pumping so hard I could feel it in my ears, "How do I do it, Sensei?"

"Relax-," Gojo started to speak.

"Relax? I need to get there as soon as possible! If you're not going to help me-,"

"Itadori!" His voice boomed, a dark expression across his face. "I understand you're worried. If Fushiguro is truly in there with Sukuna, I am worried for him too. I want to rescue him just as much as you do, but we cannot rush into this without a plan. If my theories are correct, Sukuna wouldn't kidnap him for no reason. At some point he will want to make a pact with you. Because you can maintain control over him right now, he is more powerless than he'd like to be. But, if he could force you into a contract by using your emotions for Megumi against you, it would probably work, right?"

He was saying so many things that I didn't want to hear. But as much as admitting it pained me, he was right. Part of me would do whatever it takes to save him. Megumi wouldn't want that though, he'd want me to be responsible, and rational, and make the right decision. He's always like that.

"Shit, okay. So what should I do?" I clenched my teeth together, ready to hear what Gojo's plan was.

just to clarify (incase it was confusing) megumi was pretty much successful when he tried to end his life. Because sakuna has increased power and control in his domain he was able to resurrect him but not very well. He has some memory loss and he sustained a lot of damage to his body but he's alive! if u have any other questions lemme know
